At first when I was coming here they had the best baristas now they have these new baristas that I would say are lazy and don’t follow orders . I keep coming back hoping I would get that barista immediately and my husband got before . An iced green tea latte should not taste like u bought milk from a corner store . Good baristas mix it in a martini type of shaker then pour it in the cup, lately the baristas basically throw everything in a cup and tilt it back and forth not even shake it , so you end up getting clumps of matcha and most matcha powder sticks to the bottom of the cup for the improper shaking . (That is pure laziness) my husbands company actually builds some Starbucks and he has complained about it but I mean it sucks that you always have to complain and when you do the baristas have a bad attitude about it . Also you tell them light ice ... they fill it to the top ... I don’t think I will go out of my way to keep coming back if this is the same nonsense I will get . Starbucks on duffield street Brooklyn is always consistent with how they make their green tea lattes and every barista makes it the same way the proper way . These baristas in bay ridge ( including 87 street and 73rd ) should be trained there ! I’m sure nothing will be done about this...
Read moreI ordered from Starbucks today. My first order was an iced coffee and an iced green tea. Then I realized I had forgotten to order a hot coffee, so I placed a second order that included a hot coffee and another iced coffee. I do this because if you only put one cup in the carrier, it tips over.
When I went to pick up my hot coffee, the cup carrier itself was weak—it started falling apart as I held it. I also added a bag to my order in the app so everything could be put inside. When I first started going to Starbucks, if I put my drinks in the bag myself, the staff would get annoyed and tell me it was their job. But now, suddenly, they just dump everything on the counter and expect you to do it yourself.
On top of that, the quality of the cups has gone downhill. Today, while trying to put my coffee in the bag, the cup gave out, spilled, and burned my hand. If Starbucks staff are going to be snotty when customers bag their own drinks, and then later stop doing it themselves, why downgrade the quality of the cups at the same time?
It makes no sense. Starbucks charges so much money for their drinks, yet the service has become terrible. All that money for poor quality and worse service. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to the 92nd...
Read moreMy wife and I have lattes daily so I decided to try the Starbucks in my neighborhood. I ordered 2 large latte's I get home and take a look, first they gave me 2 cappuccinos, not a big deal but I would hope a Starbucks employee would know the difference. Secondly they were a little over half full. Still okay at this point when we sipped them we realized we had two cups of Luke warm milk. They were barely a light light tan color, more white. Called their manager(early afternoon on new year day) why I told him the problem he was talking to employees. He says he's sorry but he cant help me because I dont have a receipt. He hadn't asked me if I had one , he knew because they dont give them to you. I had milk at home didn't need to walk three blocks to pay 11 bucks for it. I would stop drinking them if this was the last place to get a latte. Don't know if it's Starbucks in general or this Starbucks but stay way clear...
