Ordered a sandwich and onion rings. Sandwich was on the expensive side, almost 10 bucks and was pretty small, and nothing special at all that I couldn't have gotten from elsewhere for much less, but when I saw my onion rings, I was lost. The oil must have been extremely dirty. Look at these! How dare they even serve me these, they're disgusting looking. I now have the runs and I'm posting this from the toilet because of the entire meal, but probably mostly from the onion rings.
There's a spot a block away I usually go to called Hidalgo that makes way better sandwiches for cheaper, but I didn't go today because I wanted to give these guys a shot.
Never again.

Read moreI am a little biased because I have been going here for years, but I have to say I take no greater comfort than walking in here for a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and having a quick chat with the owner about football. What this place lacks in choices it makes up for it 10 fold in quality. Every sandwich I have purchased from here is crafted to perfection, and for the price I would put their sandwiches up against anything else the neighborhood has to offer. The owners are some of the friendliest people you could ever meet and always go out of their way to say hi to you and ask how you are doing.
