I came in half hour before closing and Jennifer assured me to take my time deciding which flavor to choose. She let me try a few flavors since it was my first time. I ended up getting a split with the “chairperson of the board” (blueberry cheesecake) and the “tuma buna” (Ethiopian coffee, ginger, turmeric, honey). Overall, clean, attentive and assortment of seasonal flavors to choose from. They also have a small fridge with pint flavors to take home.

One tip for the owners of this growing business I might add is to install more security precautions since this area tends to experience burglary and irate civilians outside the establishment. Maybe include more warning for theft consequences and developing a good relationship with the 23rd Precinct which is only 5 minutes away on 102nd and 3rd Avenue. Just to establish more of a safe environment for both the customers...

Not great came in with six people around 8:00PM today and it wasn’t the best experience for a new store opening. Ordered two milkshakes and got sick off of them and the 4 single serves that I ordered no one enjoyed them. Please follow food and safety guidelines. No one should be on their phone to change a playlist then continue to make an item, Headphones should not be on takes away from the guest experience also a DOH violation, bleach not being used appropriately. Introduce mystery shop or tattle if you have...

I love every location of Sugar Hill Creamery (because the flavors are unique and delicious, and the staff is friendly/hard working). But the secret sauce of this particular location on Lex — the thing that will make me go out of my way and cross town to visit — is the magical soft serve swirl. I’m not a vegan, but the dairy-free (oat and cashew milk) vanilla chocolate soft serve is soooo good. Do yourself a favor and try it! I’d post a pic, but I ate...

The Sweet Socialiasm vegan dark chocolate was one of the best non dairy ice creams I’ve ever had! Rich flavor and no aftertaste which happens a lot with vegan ice creams. Staff was awesome and provided samples to help us make our choice! Creative menu, great space, can’t wait to come back!

First time at this venue. Johamm is very informative, polite and provides good service 🙏 The Ice cream vary in flavors and some are vegan. Most of the flavors are constant, however, they have changes in flavors, frequently. Come and enjoy some ice cream 🍨
