I came in half hour before closing and Jennifer assured me to take my time deciding which flavor to choose. She let me try a few flavors since it was my first time. I ended up getting a split with the “chairperson of the board” (blueberry cheesecake) and the “tuma buna” (Ethiopian coffee, ginger, turmeric, honey). Overall, clean, attentive and assortment of seasonal flavors to choose from. They also have a small fridge with pint flavors to take home.
One tip for the owners of this growing business I might add is to install more security precautions since this area tends to experience burglary and irate civilians outside the establishment. Maybe include more warning for theft consequences and developing a good relationship with the 23rd Precinct which is only 5 minutes away on 102nd and 3rd Avenue.
