I used to LOVE this place and felt like the quality was truly great. Their tempura was especially delicious. Unfortunately, our last few experiences were sub-par to say the least. I have continually given them the benefit of the doubt but our last take-out order was just so sad. My husband picked up the food on Wednesday (10.28) at 5pm and brought it home.
Sushi was fine, nothing to complain about.
We ordered TWO servings of mixed vegetable Tempura did have not eggplant, onions, or taro. The green beans were all mushed together and there was a total of 6 pieces for TWO servings which was super disappointing.
The seaweed salad used to be so good and now its just that generic neon stuff you get from big bins. Another disappointment.
But the worst was the Salmon.. they used to cook it well and use fresh vegetables. This time around it was strips of frozen salmon drenched in store-bought teriyaki with frozen vegetables. We threw it out.
I used to LOVE this place but its truly lost all the care put into dishes and the quality is no longer worth the price. I hope they will return to using better ingredients, it was such a wonderful place. For...
Read moreThis is a disappointed review I have to write. We been loyal customers at Ten for the past 3 years and often take our business dinners here. Our dog a small 3 lb yorkie had enjoy outdoor dinner with us here on many occasions within these past years. However, today is a different story. We asked to be seated outdoor/patio because we had our dog, got seated, our server (a male) took out drink order, few minutes later another server (female) came out and said no dogs allow and we can't stay. We are very upset because we came in with a dog, if u r a "no dog allow" outdoor/patio restaurant then why seated customers. In addition, this is Park slope...this restaurant is no longer have...
Read moreIt's hard to find a place that gets all the little details right, but Ten is it. It was a refreshing reminder that it is possible to go out for a truly delightful meal from start to finish. The space was clean and our server was very polite, making sure to clean off any trash and take back dishes promptly. The prices were also very reasonable, especially for Park Slope. Our food arrived quickly, and we found the salmon rolls to be very fresh. The chicken teriyaki sauce was delicate and not too sweet. Even the lemon water was a nice touch. We will definitely be back, especially since this place seems to be open later than most restaurants in the...
