The entire staff was professional and polite from the moment I arrived with my family. I don't live in the area and was excited when I was able to finally make it to Brooklyn to try the esquite loco. I did come late and they had ran out, I was a little upset bc I did travel 2 hours and wish I would've gotten there earlier. I ordered a Chamoyada and an elote loco instead and It 100% exceeded my expectations. Everything is made fresh. I was mostly impressed with how clean everything was since I know they were very busy that Saturday. I was there a total of 30 minutes and by the time I was ready to leave I was told they were cleaning and found the ingredients needed to make the esquite loco, my stomach was full and happy but I could not turn it down. She was generous enough to gift it to me since I told her how far I had traveled to try them! I will be a forever customer and will support them on every trip I make to New York. Service is great. Snacks are okay but the flavor of the ice cream and Nieves are really not all that they taste all right. The cookies and cream ice cream has a lot of color which can be concerning after my kids tried it their mouths were all blue. I tasted the nieve de limón hmmm not very authentic, the mangoneada is watery. I bought an agua de jamaica it was very sweet but cold and fresh so definitely a positive. I find the prices to be overpriced. A suggestion I would have is to incorporate a smalli kids menu or perhaps kid friendly cups or sizes. It’s super clean and items seem fresh. Very disappointing experience to be honest. I have been dying to go to this place for a long time, I finally made the trip on Memorial Day. I walked in and not a single person in there greeted me, as a customer I felt awkward. Instead I got nasty looks from an elder gentleman who looked to be the owner or manager. That’s terrible because there stuff is very delicious. The only reason I ordered anything was because I traveled from the other end of Brooklyn.
