The Greats of Craft - LIC Waterfront — Restaurant in New York

I’ve been here about a dozen times for coffee and once for cocktails, but today was the last. I went in this morning with my daughter and sat her backpack on a stool at the counter to order; immediately, a woman taking drink orders said, “kids can’t sit up here.” No explanation, no greeting (plus, we weren’t going to!). I ordered food and a lemonade for my kid to-go, and a different woman handed me a lemonade in a large glass. When I asked if we could please get it to-go, she wordlessly took it back, dumped it into a plastic cup and shoved it back across the counter and walked away. It was wild. When I reminded them about the food order a few minutes later they said “it’s coming” and again just wordlessly sat it in front of me. I recently had the pleasure of hanging out at The Greats of Craft’s charming new location - LIC Waterfront! The atmosphere is so bright and welcoming, the staff were so friendly and the food and drinks were delicious.
