Overall, the food attached to this bar wasn’t my cup of tea the ranch is this weird runny green sauce concoction. Wings and animal fries weren’t it for me either, wings were cooked well, again just couldn’t get past the sauce. Papa’s burger is solid! I’d take into consideration they are literally called ‘strange flavor’ for a reason haha.

The bar before asking anything immediately ID’d me and my partner, I showed them mine and my partners ID to which I asked them about these two happy hour drinks (I wasn’t expecting happy hour prices) motioned me to fellow bartender, who told me they don’t make those anymore, I asked for 2 margs, asked me to give them a second, i then asked if they had flavors ‘Umm i have juices’ I said cool i’ll just take them standard then. I never got my drinks, bartender was too busy trying to look busy wiping down an empty counter and fixing his makeup. A group of white people came in and were immediately given their drinks (Nobody was asked for an ID either) As other reviews have said I wouldn’t outright say they’re discriminating but I just feel that if I was a white person I would have been served instantly. I wasn’t going to write a review until I read that my fellow POC have felt this type of way towards the bar staff in particular. For management I’d say consider restaffing your rude bartenders, as this was my first experience with this bar and will...

Went to the Johnson’s last Saturday and the bar was busy but not packed. We opened a tab, we’re there for an hour or so and had a few beers, then went to close out and they said it had already been closed. TURNS OUT THE BARTENDER GAVE AWAY MY CARD SOMEONE WITH AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT NAME. When we asked how to resolve the issue they gave no options, didn’t apologize and acted as if it was somehow my fault. We ended up leaving and went back later to see if the card had been returned and two patrons came up and said the bartender was talking shit about me and my friends for somehow being in the wrong. We remained completely polite the whole time, just trying to figure out if I needed to cancel my card and try to find where it was/who it had been given to. We tried to ask if we could speak to a manager and they said no, I ended up canceling my card but just a word of caution about leaving your tab open. Don’t expect...

I had a super weird experience here on a Saturday night. First of all, the burger place attached to it is amazing. Very good burger and fries. While my friends were ordering I went to the bathroom which is by the bar in the back, where I saw people who just came in after us ordering drinks without a problem.

However when my friend went up to order, the bartender did a nasty top-to-down scan on her and said we all needed to come up and show them IDs. Now we're all nearly 30 years old and nowadays this is not a common experience for us. Needless to say that people who could drink without this BS were all white and we were all POC. And lo and behold we saw the bartender serve some white girls drinks without doing the ridiculous ritual with them.

Now I'm not going to outright say the bar is racist but the microaggression was WILD. Would go for the burger,...

What a cute little spot! The main area has a large, comfy, unique waiting area (that I forgot to get pics of) that leads to two seating areas. There was only one bartender on a Sunday night and she was KILLING IT! We happened to be there during happy hour so our drinks ended up only being $6-$7 đŸ”„đŸ™đŸŒ my fav part was the food! Everything can be made vegetarian but I had the chicken chicken sandwich and fries bc it looked quite good in the pictures and it was!!!! As good as the sandwich was, the fries had a little something extra I couldn't put my finger on. Idk if I'm allowed to tell, or if they told us in confidence but they are fried in something *~very special*~ I'll definitely be back!

I was surprised that I like the food here, but I did. Burgers and fries and what not. You order, get a buzzard, then it rings and you pick up the food. Drinks are in the back. They have beer, and mixed drinks, probably wine too. The place was quite loud, too loud for my liking. And the lights inside always flicker, or dim up and down. I don't understand that. They have two tables outside. That was a nice place to sit and enjoy the food without the loudness. Overall sure, I would go back.

Unique fun atmosphere! You walk through an open front room that feels like your hanging out in a garden where they have some yummy nom noms. Peruse on through to the bar to get delicious drinks, my two favs are the paloma and the painkiller, highly suggested! There are always fun people there and great music playing! My favorite part is the pool table in the back! Great place :)
