I wasn’t feeling well with a cold and wanted some soup to munch on until my cold passed. My boyfriend ended up picking up 3 different soups for me to have my choice with. The Chicken Soup, bisque and corn chowder. I was a bit confused with the chicken soup as it had unnecessary amounts of undercooked hard beans in it. I’ve never had beans in my chicken soup especially not hard undercooked ones. The chicken bits in the soup were pretty dry and flavorless. The bisque was okay but disappointed in the fact that there was not an ounce of lobster meat in it. I’ve only had a bite of the corn chowder but could instantly tell I’d be underwhelmed when I have a bowl. There’s nothing in it. It honestly just tasted like puréed corn and cream. No potatoes, bacon, barely any flavor. I don’t think I’ll be back for soup in the future.

The scent of deliciousness can drag you back into the front door and can’t wait for the shop to open!! This little cozy space is perfect for pampering you in the cold winter morning. I’ve been theirs royalty fans since there’s shop location in near 7th Ave. & 9th st. Subway station. Now, it’s open all year round with adding the various salad options. This Long Island Calm Chowder is so pampering and delicious for a cold winter morning.

I have ordered from here several times and it's hard to remember if there was a time the chicken vegetable soup came with a decent chicken/vegetable ratio. The last time I ordered it was mostly onions with some celery. There were about five pieces of chicken. And I think the bread had mold. I would also really appreciate if they started using paper bowls/cups for their soups but that's just my preference.

Visited for the first time yesterday and ordered the lobster butternut squash bisque. While I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the soup it lacked any lobster. About 3 slim slices of it were found in an entire large cup. The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious but also on the small side. I was expecting a regular sized slice of bread for the sandwich but it’s about half that.

I work at the hospital nearby and today on Sunday as stated on both google and their official website it states that they’re open 10am sundays however I walked over around 10:15am and they were closed. Called them on the phone and a man answered and said “uh” twice after I asked if they were open today and what time, before he hung up on me. Called back again irritated, repeated my question and he yelled “yeah okay 11!” Like, sir??? So unnecessary.

They are cash only but there’s an ATM inside with a few small tables and seats.

I recommend their soup but don’t call them because you will only get annoyed and not...

Went in for lunch with my mom; we sampled the soups, which were delicious, and ordered their soup+sandwich combos. Found out that they do not offer their restroom to costumers - they said legally they do not have to offer it due to the small size of the restaurant - and we were told to use the one at the diner across the street. Explained to them that my mother is disabled and regardless of legality, it seems unfair to sell/serve food and have a seating area but deny customers access to the bathroom; we were still denied access. Canceled order and opted to eat at diner instead. Strongly urge owners to reconsider this strange policy. The soups are good though; perhaps this place is better considered as an order and pick up place, as they do not offer...
