We went here for a simple breakfast. Pancakes and eggs. Place wasn’t busy. We went to pour the syrup on the pancakes. It was water. Dirty water. It drenched the pancakes. We tried to get the waitress over. She was just standing behind counter. It took multiple times asking to get her to bother coming to the table. We showed and demonstrated to her how the syrup was dirty water. She then goes back and brings us new syrup but didn’t want to take away the pancakes drenched in dirty water. I’ve never seen anything so absurd and disgusting at a restaurant. Why would anyone eat pancakes that have been covered in dirty water? Sad because this place is close by and has a nice atmosphere and this was our second time going. Makes you wonder the cleanliness of the place in general. What was worse is they tried to gaslight us after that it was just a new brand of syrup. I’ve never seen syrup that’s so liquid it sits at the bottom of the plate like a soup. It was translucent and clearly dirty water that they forgot to empty out. No brand of syrup in the country...
Read moreI’m so obsessed with this adorable, cozy, and welcoming diner. I was greeted immediately with such kindness and shown to a perfect back booth for my party of 1. My tea was served hot with a fresh lemon wedge. The Greek Salad was huge and literally covered in so many crisp, colorful veggies and a very satisfying amount of delicious feta cheese. The fries were seriously so well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I also ordered a side of tzatziki which was definitely on the more garlicky side, but that’s my preference honestly :) The chef walked by a few times and he was so sweet and fun to chat with. It’s so easy to tell he takes genuine pride in his food. The service and food are way above average here and I’m already planning what to order...
Read moreThis was my very first time going to this diner. Looking for a great experience. The place was a cute diner inside. But where it felled short was the silver ware was extremely filthy, the server serve coffee it looked like it was a booger on the side of my cup, and the dish that I ordered was the scrambled eggs with homefries. When he served us it was a nose hair or eyelash on the plate. We paid because I did not want to cause a scene. We paid 30 bucks, we took the food to go, when I got outside I threw the food away in garbage. The waiter had a very dull personality. It was very disgusting, and I would not recommend this...
