TS is a fantastic gym! I've worked with several different personal trainers over the years and belonged to Equinox for 15+ years (with stints at Crunch and New York Sports also), and I consider my bar pretty high, and TS has FAR SURPASSED my expectations. The owner Noam, as well as the other trainers including Kevin and Filip, will really impress you while inspiring you, pushing you, and somehow making it all fun!
This is a review of the group personal training, which I've been enjoying 2x a week for the past 5-6 months. You'll get a program designed just for you, and it changes every month to keep things fresh. TS has gotten me out a slump where, after a lifetime of regularly working out, I had a hard time getting back into a routine post COVID, along with balancing work and parenting demands. TS has me back in the groove, and I love my time there!
TS has many time slots available 7 days a week, with a system that makes signing up (and changing) reservations a piece of cake. Every trainer is top-notch, kind, and always alert for both form corrections as well as when I need a bit of a nudge to up my weights or reps. Worth noting is they are also there to support if you're not feeling your best and need a softer touch or modification. I have struggled with fussy knees for decades, and I was nervous accommodations / modifications would be tough in a group training environment. I was wrong! I can happily say that I feel just as supported as I did with 1-1 training, the equipment available is awesome and very varied, and if you're thinking about it - go for it and give TS a try! There's a no-commitment trial to try them out, and hey they just might change your life like they have for many of us.
Additionally, several times a year there are optional nutrition challenges. I just participated in my first one (but not my last!), and in 4+ weeks I dropped 5 pounds and 2.5% body fat while truly living my life.... including work dinners, weekend travel, and some cocktails here and there. I had gained 10-15 pounds in the last year or two after going through menopause, and other efforts I've made have not led to any success, and I'm confident that this program has given me the foundation for sustainable, healthy loss which I will be able to continue to get (and stay) to my goal weight.
The nutrition program is run by Noam's wife Samantha, and teaches excellent, solid, foundational concepts that you can adapt to eating at restaurants, picking up easy to throw together items from Trader Joes, or choose to explore some of Samantha's recipes. I'm 50+ and have been inspired to cook shrimp, salmon, and branzino for the time in my life! Like the fitness program, this is a serious program but also soooo kind and supportive. I'm drinking the right amount of water and tracking to my protein target easily given Samantha's excellent suggestions (which are available for vegetarians too!).

I never could have believed that going to a trainer once or twice a week could totally transform my body the way it has, but it is possible. I used to lift weights on my own (three times per week) and was very skeptical of the benefit of hiring a trainer. I doubted that the results I would get with a trainer would be any different than lifting on my own. I couldnāt have been more wrong. In all the years I lifted weights, I never saw the results I have seen working out with Noam and Corina. I am stronger and more toned and I still feel continuous improvement every time I go (and I never skip leg day!).
The trainers at TS focus on form, mobility, strength, and what works for you. They design training programs specific to the person, which change every eight sessions, so it never gets boring. Their semi-private training is perfect for someone who wants the attention of the trainer, to include the individual work out plans and associated results, but who doesnāt want to pay more for private sessions. The semi-private sessions never have more than 5 people in the session (usually fewer, depending on when you work out) and are more affordable than other gyms I have researched.
TS also offers High Intensity Training (HIT) classes, which I attend every once in a while, and are always a blast and a great workout! Iāve never had so much fun while getting my butt kicked. Robert is super enthusiastic and between his energy and the variation in the exercises, the time passes very quickly and you walk away knowing you got a great workout.
TS is also a community that offers encouragement and support. I know several of the people who work out there (I didnāt know anyone at my old gym) and I know all the trainers, and have worked out with most of them. Theyāre all highly energetic, friendly people who know their craft and want to make you better and stronger. I also had a bad left knee from running in college that would flare up and make me stop whatever exercise I was doing at the time, causing me to cycle endlessly and never really make progress on my fitness. Iām writing this half a year later to say that my life has been absolutely changed! TS helped me lay the foundation of what is now a cornerstone of my daily routine - taking care of my body and making myself stronger. Noam is such a great leader, and every member of the staff - Elvin, Alejandro, Fil - is so great at teaching and encouraging you wherever you are in your fitness journey. And I think what is so powerful about TS is that itās more than just about going to a āfitness classā - they emphasize a mindset shift, a change in lifestyle, and thatās what helped me gain so much of my progress. Having the energy of other people in the group personal training classes is great, and the trainers are always looking out for you; you always feel like you are being supervised and watched. When I walk into the weight room now, I walk in with confidence and knowledge of what I can and need to do. Iām the strongest Iāve ever been in my life with no plans to stop anytime soon - Iāve become one of those people who try to move their body every day!
