Place is great but I have to give it a 1 because of location. I am a frequent customer, not an everyday customer as most people in the area are, but I had to stop coming here due to the amount of homeless people that come in the store. It has increased drastically and honestly itâs terrifying. The barista at work do a excellent job providing services, but I have witness on multiple accounts of products being stolen when they are not looking or even if they are looking. The tip money literally gets taking and just the amount of them that come and beg for food and money while I am working sitting and drinking my coffee. Most of the homeless people are very mentally ill and some seem very dangerous and others are literally strung out and you can tell when they come. There seems to be a lot women staff and I witness them working late at night after dark and it is just not safe for them to be by themselves. It seems that also when they like to come in when the women are alone. What coffee shop needs to be open till 9pm with 1 person working by themselves especially over in chelsea? Iâm pretty sure the company wonât do anything, but I hope everyone that works there stays safe. I donât feel safe during the day and I know the baristas donât feel safe at night! I wonât be...
Read moreDo you have any other, bigger location? My team is wondering and are interested in giving more business. Great setup for a fixer upper project (not a makeover, the design is great) but this store would expand with The Oscars investment. The staff is nice and cool like a real cafe should be. Hoisted by fame, I enjoy one cup often. Great meetings take place here and there are a lot of outlets for phone charging. Great work space, not sure if there are bigger locations which would be convenient for famous people like me with secret, too-shy-to-talk, star struck followers. The music is fashion indie electronic , rock reminiscent of the 90s, new millennium and sometimes 80s. The staff is very helpful and ready to make it great. Invest in this opportunity (ask for the overall supervisor, Tom). The coffee is the best in town for the price, real lime-rock. Great place to relax as you take up space. What? Oh, not much foot traffic because sitting and enjoying the tough antique remodeling is the best part of the experience, so claim your spot. If your coming for the coffee, this brand will make you high and mighty among kings with great taste.
LOVE IT, claim your business on Google and get better results from smartphone traffic.

Read moreIf you're looking for a café that will ruin your morning, Variety Café delivers. On December 26th, my boyfriend, my parents, and I visited at 10 AM, and it was a huge disappointment.
The mango-flavored tea was canned, bland, and forgettable. The ham and cheese croissant was dry, bitter, and stone-coldânothing like you'd expect.
But the real issue was the service. Despite being polite, the bartenders were rude and dismissive. They even laughed at us for no reason. I asked the bearded bartender if my croissant could be heated, and he flatly said no. When I asked for a glass for my tea, the server just stared at the glasses without responding.
When we left, we did leave a tipâthough Iâm not sure it was enough to warrant even basic courtesyâbut we made the mistake of leaving the table as is. The same server then pointed at it, silently indicating we should clean up. A simple, polite request wouldâve been far more appreciated than the judgmental gesture.
Variety CafĂ© was a letdownârude service, bad food, and zero hospitality. Skip this placeâNew York has plenty of...
