I had a pleasant experience in this place. It was my first time in a gaming cafe, so I have no point of reference. Therefore, I have no idea of what to expect from a gaming cafe. Nonetheless, I will try to to make this review as objective as I can.
The PC was good enough. It had a 1060 GPU, and I assume the rest of their PCs have the same GPU. I am not sure whether it was a TI or not, though.
There are a lot of games that come already installed on the PCs: Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, among many others. I am not an MMO player, but if you are, I assume that you will find what you want.
All the monitors have 144hz refresh rate as I was told by the guy who works there. Here is a fact; you can’t play an FPS game, at least competitively, with anything less than that refresh rate. The owner of this cafe seems to have a grasp of this fact.
The mouse and the keyboard were good, but the headphones not as much. The mechanical keyboard was nice to have, although you can never go wrong with a keyboard. They all pretty much do the same. As for the mouse, it did the job just fine. You can change the DPI to one of the 6 pre-set option, too. The headphones were just plane bad.
The Dxracer chair was comfortable. My problem was with the way I was forced to sit by the chair. The chair doesn't go high enough to match the desk height. Also, I couldn't adjust the backrest to be able to play comfortably. When I lay my back on the backrest, everything would be way too far.
I will not comment on the prices. It’s beyond my judgment to know if they were fair or not as I have never been to a gaming cafe before. The gentleman that was behind the counter was super friendly and informative. He would also come to check every...

Going to this place for the first time with my dad was a blast! Not only are the prices fair (5 dollars per hour for 4k gaming) but the community is very friendly. Sure, you may hear some hard core gamers cussing from time to time, but in other times, this place is pretty chill. Me and my dad decided to check the place out and play some csgo, world of warcraft 2, apex legends, etc. The only reason I am giving this place a 4 out of 5 stars is because the problem is that the programm they use to keep track of you is a tiny bit broken, in a way, the games rarely didnt launch or had to close out and try second time, but normally everything is smooth. Even if you are there to enjoy a cup of coffee, this is still an amazing place to go to. My recommendation is bring a group of friends on a Friday evening or Saturday day and just hang out with each other. In my opinion, this place was amazing and would recommend it for ages 10 and above ( I am 15 years old my self) and try to have fun.
Pro: friendly community and staff open space for the player 3.smooth 4k gaming great time to spend playing games
Con: too many immature 12 year olds playing fortnite and minecraft and cussing might need to relaunch your game second time rarely
Hope this review helped you out and see you in the...
Read moreDecided to check this place out after some of my gaming friends came into town and we wanted to play some Overwatch. Previously, we checked out a different Gaming Cafe in Jersey that blew away our expectations. My friends and I walked in with high expectations and left disappointed after requesting a partial refund for not staying as long as originally planned.
Waypoint Cafe is warm and cozy, LED lit computer cases line the top of cubicles, gaming chairs, headsets, keyboards and mice all await you. Once you sit down you realize how low quality the peripherals are. The seats are probably the cheapest option you can find on the market for gaming chairs- very little configuration options for the armrest. The WORST part is the fact the chair height adjustment does not align with how high the cubicles are. This makes sitting properly extremely difficult, I cannot imagine someone shorter than I being comfortable, let alone be able to game without back or neck pain. The headset quality is low, and my mouse had 2 nonfunctional side buttons. No access to system sound and proprietary peripheral applications limits your ability to fine tune and adjust.
Overall all of the complaints I had with Waypoint, were solved at Local Battles in Jersey. I highly suggest taking the trip over the bridge, your back, neck and wrists...
