Ludlow Laundromat — Local services in New York

Wash and fold is usually reliable and fast but dry cleaning is not. Have had mostly fine experiences but gave them a few winter coats to just tidy up for summer storage- came back smelling unbelievably bad- almost too gross to explain- like they hadn’t been washed in decades- dusty, grimy, gross. My blonde hairs were still on them, along with a few very easy to clean stains, so I know they weren’t actually cleaned. I figured to give them a second chance and they did it again for free- came back the exact same, maybe worse. Now I have to go to a much more expensive place to get rid of the smell. Really disappointing. I’d trust them with an odd shirt here and there but...

I've been coming here for years but I will never go back. I was doing laundry and I was taking my clothes out of the washer and shifting to the dryer. It was more than I could carry so I left the door open while I walked to the dryer. It was about 15 seconds. In that time, the people working there removed my wet clothes and put them into a visibly dirty laundry bin. I was not pleased. All I asked was for them to wash the clothes again, they refused and told me they didn't need my business. Wow. There's like ten laundromats in a five block radius,...

Young professional, as I recently moved into the area, this was the first place I called (based on the great reviews). I dropped off my clothes in a laundry bag, and for .99 cents per pound, they performed a simple wash and fold. The Laundromat is clean, and the staff is friendly. My clothes were nearly folded and organized when they were returned back to me. I would recommend Ludlow to new/existing people in the area, as a quick stop, same day laundry service.
