As other reviewers have noted, after you order at this Wendy's they routinely ask you to pull your car up. I found out years ago why they do this--once you move the car past the sensor by the window it stops the automatic timer that tells their management how long they're taking.
We went through the drive thru at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night; it wasn't crowded at all. We pulled up to the menu and ordered. The guy at the other end of the window had all the enthusiasm of a three-toed sloth.
We got our order and my wife asked me if I wanted to check if the order was right. I scoffed at her. It's Wendy's. How are they going to mess up? And so we headed off.
When we got home, sure enough the order we received was flawless. There was not one thing in it they got right.
We asked for a baked potato with cheese on the side. Our baked potato was slathered in cheese. We asked for Honey Mustard sauce for our chicken nuggets. The receipt even said "(2) Honey Mustard Dipping". We got two barbecue sauces We asked for a pulled pork sandwich combo. We got the sandwich which consisted of a bottom bun, pork, coleslaw--and was completely missing its top bun! That was a first for me. I've heard of forgetting to put things like pickles and onions on a burger, but an entire bun? The one saving grace is that we ordered a 10 piece nuggets, and got 11 pieces.
Wendy's new slogan is "quality is our recipe". If that's the case, I really, really don't want to know what's in...
Read moreThis Wendy's always has issues with there orders. Last night I oder a pretzel baconator combo.and 2 Jr bacons cheese burger ..and they gave me a hamburger with double meat instead of a pretzel baconator ..they sent me 1 lil hamburgers with the bacon and the other Jr bacon with out the meat patty and the bacon it was literally only lettuce tomatoes and a pickle .they gave me old stale cold frys and 3/4 of soda it was a quoter missing..they never give straws and they use the excuse that u have to ask for it...I feel like they should ask would you guys like a straw .how am I suppose to drive and drink with a cup that has to be with out a lid because they never give straws the craze thing is that out of the 10 times I've gotten for here .7 out of those times they gaven me the wrong oder and always with out a straw .who ever was working the drive tru may 7 2024 at 11 p.m sent me the wrong food and ruined my whole dinner because now I'm upset they gave me the wrong food not only that one of the burgers didn't have the meat patty im pretty sure in was done intentionally and its not fair. They has to be some sort of punishment to who ever was working that shift .and also the manager is some Spanish lady and she's extremely rude .she always has an attitude she's already an older lady and you can tell she hates her job because she's always mad .her energy is very bad and you can't even complain because she always...
Read moreWhat an awesome place! I realize that our experience may have been atypical since my husband and I stopped in for some tea and dessert on a weeknight around 9:30pm after seeing a show at Carnegie Hall nearby. So there was absolutely no wait for a table and the staff was very attentive since the place was mostly empty. We really enjoyed our tea service but I just had to subtract one star because they used tea bags rather than loose tea. If you are going to charge that much for tea then you shouldn't be using some bags I can get at a gourmet grocery store around the corner for about 1/100th of the price.
On the positive side, the atmosphere at The Russian Tea Room is just so wonderfully elegant that I was really glad we stumbled upon it on our one "dress-up" night of our trip to NYC. I loved every minute of it! The decor was gorgeous and the art on the wall kept us entertained while we relaxed in our booth sipping our tea. They have many beautiful paintings, including two original works by Pablo Picasso. Wow! And the whole time they played classical or traditional Russian music including a lot of Tchaikovsky. I absolutely LOVE both the Nutcracker and Swan Lake ballets so I was in heaven. I could have sat there all night, it was so soothing and wonderful. I did take a look at their menu and it looks pretty pricey but I hope someday I get to come back for...
