Wonder Pig K-BBQ — Restaurant in New York

I've went to many Korean BBQ, wonder pig fail, food was horrible. (Fail on the food) Service was horrible, (fail on the service) 3 ambiance doesn't matter good or bad, because food and service was horrible, I'll not recommend anyone to wonder pig. I'll recommend a very good Korean BBQ on northern Blvd name cast iron, this place put wonder to shame. No one should ever go to wonder pig restaurant, they only concerned about getting your money.

Thanks for replying back to my post on your restaurant wonder pig First off, their is no mistakes on your restaurant, me and my wife paid cash, and our server name Claire who works at your restaurant as a server, when you walk in the restaurant, me and my wife was sitting directly to the right next to the post machine by the glass. Look Thomas I wonder where you get all those reviews, you probably paid all those fake people to give you these great reviews, which don't mean anything, you design your menus for western people who don't understand anything about traditional Korean BBQ places, your menus is not Korean BBQ places, it's designed for western people only which is fusion style, like I said in the beginning your service is horrible, and your food is horrible. I can tell you the main things what's wrong with your restaurant, but I'd not give you the satisfaction of telling you , but if you still not 100 percent sure I came to your restaurant, ask Claire if she server a Korean woman with a African black French male on Saturday, we exposed to Claire some of things we were discussing with your food ask Claire, and Claire respond she understands, but their nothing I can do. If your restaurant was in Korean town they will run you out of flushing, Thomas you should be ashamed of yourself and your fake Korean restaurant, for anyone who's reading this review, do not go to this restaurant, if you looking for a good Korean restaurant to go to, go to Cast Iron restaurant is on 158th on northern Blvd in Korean town ,my only regret is spending my hard earned money $105 including the tips. Thomas I want to leave you with this thought, how do you sleep in the night time and look at your self in the mirror, because you're misleading western Americans with your fake Korean restaurant. I don't want to give you the satisfaction of the details towards my feelings and details wrong pacifically with Wonder Pig restaurant. Leave you with one thought in mine, CHANGE YOUR MENUS AND STOP MISLEADING WESTERN AMERICANS.

Hello Thomas my friend, this is not personal, I've a moral right based on my constitution freedom of speech to say how I feel, and every patrons that goes to your restaurant have the same rights to voice our opinions, especially when we're spending hard earned money at your restaurant fee for service, a lot of times reviews is not going to be all peaches 🍑🍑 and cream, like my reviews which I'm entitled to say bad or good. Now. I understand your feelings is (BRUISED) from my reviews, nothing personal it's just my opinion ok. If you feel that bad about my reviews, ask me nicely, that you would like me to take my reviews down and I'll be happy to deleted it , and I'll be happy 😁 to. One more thing we treated your server Claire with respect, and she listens and takes care of us respectful as well, but this is not about your server Claire, this is about my opinion you feel uncomfortable with I get it. I wrote this review in 9/26/2022 . When I was writing reviews of other places I visited, I found that the review I wrote about the wonder Pig BBQ after I visited did not appear on my review page.So I clicked reposted thats why the time line changed But what I described was the most truly feeling I had when I went to this restaurant and the review not as you said is false review. Since that bad experience I never go back if you change the staff you guys really do best change for your restaurant you can Instead of telling me to report to legal team contact me, you can politely ask me if I can remove my review and tell you guys do a lot for the restaurant just want the best food and service to all customers. So I can edit my review to let all customers knows but I can’t remove the review. All I wrote the review is finger cross review.

9/26/2022 I had the worst experience here tonight! The quality of meat is not that good but place decorations nice. When I sat down and poured my water there was something dirty in cup. We started at 8:30 and we were served by a young waitress who told us that we can only order 4 kinds of meat at a time ok we only ordered twice. At 9:20 she told us that it was the last call. When I said two kinds of meat, she told me to wait until She came back and I would continue to add more. But she had a bad attitude and told me that the kitchen was closed.Its ridiculous you can only order two meat last call!!When I ask that it shouldn’t like that last call. She answered impatiently “what do you want to order “and very rudely fries your meat in iron plate. And then let other waiters serve us. A male waiter is much better than the other female.I ask the guy it close 11pm when is the last call time? He said that 9:15-9:30. And it writes on menu Kitchen closes 1 HOUR before closing time. The store lied!!! Services very bad and no give respect to customers. I'm curious how the good reviews here. I am a nice customer and I always tip very well, but for the service in this store you would consider tipping for that bad service is worthless. My boyfriend willing tip 0 but I still give 10% tip. I would never go this place again! There are many good other places you can go. Before you guys wanna go this place watch for more negative reviews here....

10 minutes into our meal, we noticed the beef smelled nasty and revolting.

I called the waiter to tell him about it. Then I asked him to eat the meat and check for himself. He made a disgusted face and agreed that there was a smell coming from the meat. He word for word said "sometimes the meat is good and sometimes bad." with a disgruntled smirk. Really?? That's what you're gonna say when clearly smelly meat being served?

After seeing the other negative reviews that mention similar issues ( attitude, wierd smell from beef, not saying sorry, etc) it looks like its not just me writing this.

As a Korean, I'm ashamed that these people are representing my culture with such poor attitude and spoiled meat.

SH is the same party that came with me that day. We both left a similar review because we both felt the same? Maybe your staff is lying to you about what happened so they dont get in trouble. And everything did happen and why would anyone lie about a negative review?

Also, looking at other reviews, you have your staff/friends write fake reviews about your business and proceed to write negative 1 star reviews for other kbbq restaurants that are your competitors. Few other comments even mention your business purposely deleting negative comments. Absolutely petty and distasteful.

I have no relation with any business and who tf is son nam lmao. Nice try with the legal threat, I am a customer, and you are falsely accusing me for some competitor spy. I have every right to say what I think about your business. This is America, not North korea.

Again, I am purely writing this review as a negative experience for future customers since I had a terrible experience as a paying customer.
