There is no way in this material sphere that this place is 5 stars.
The burger I ordered was more than just bad, it was an insult to the concept of burgers itself.
The exterior is welcoming and the premises were clean but that's the extent of what is good about this place.
I ordered the Brooklyn Burger, and what I received was a watery mess of ingredients slapped on top of a burger that had the texture and taste of one of those frozen Sabrette burgers. It was a dry, colorless disc devoid of any flavor.
The "cajun" fries tasted like normal fries except they were sprinkled with what tasted like chip dust from the bottom of a 50 cent bag of Wise BBQ chips.
...and the PRICE, my god, clearing 20 dollars for something that tastes like something you dug out of a school cafeteria dumpster should be against the law.
People, for the love of God; just go to one of the MANY nearby bars that will offer you a far better burger for a comparable, IF NOT CHEAPER price. I suggest Prospect Bar and Grill, but you literally can't go wrong since NOTHING can be as bad as this.
God damn.
Edit: If you'd like further proof of the validity of my words, look at the caliber of the owner's response to this review.
A reviews express purpose is to convey ones opinion and experience. Don't get angry at me that you're selling cheap frozen burgers and charging premium...
Read moreIMPRESSIVE! My first time trying and they didn't disappoint on any level! Ordered the Brooklyn Burger meal. Normally I order my burgers medium-rare if I had the choice. Here, you don't. But lemme tell you, the medium-well patty was cooked to perfection and was the juiciest I've had in a long time - if ever! Kudos to Chef on their meat blend and fat ratio! The bun was so soft with added bonus of toasting which adds nice texture. Their sauce is nuanced and adds another layer of unctuousness to the bite without being overwhelming.
You get to choose from 3 different kinds of fries for your meal, which is practically unheard of in these days inflation. I opted for sweet potato fries. I like them extra crispy and that's exactly what they were! They may have even been twice fried because each fry had a magically crispy exterior and tender interior. It reminded me of classic Belgian pomme frites. They're served in an adorable cardboard cup lined with cone-shaped paper.
Their drink selection is small but decent and even had a Polar seltzer Apple Lime flavor that I've never tried.
For real though... their combo meal is a few dollars more than Mc D's combos down the block. It's worth spending more for better food.
Service is phenomenal. Front staff couldn't have been nicer, all smiles. Sit-down area is clean, open and nicely lit. Will...
Read moreI went to xo burgers since it had good reviews, and I was very disappointed with the visit. After about 4 minutes of placing my order with the cashier , I was told they were out of hamburger buns. They said they are made homemade and ran out since they were busy. I would think that they would have a enough bread to accomadate the burgers. They refunded my money in cash, although I paid with the card which is ok i guess . But i did find it odd that the cashier said their machine is not made to give refunds back to cards. I never heard of that before especially with a newly updated register. So instead, me and my sister ordered hotdogs with stale bread that was homemade. To top it all off, the Pepsi Zero Sugar, smelled and tasted really bad. At first, I thought it was the straw and I switched straws. It definitely wasn't the straw!!. I lift up the sodas to check the expiration and they were dated July 2024!!. We are in September 2025!! That is totally unacceptable!! The manager should really be on top of these things along with the employees. I was very disappointed with the service that I received. I do have to say that the employee was professional and kind and apologetic of running...
