Absolutely the worst cut I ever had. Was going to Made The Cut down at fort hamilton but my stylist was out and other hair stylist need to wait at least an hour so i left and decided to try out ocean salon instead. Worst decision, i walk in completely empty, i thought to myself 'great no wait!' But I was wrong, there's a reason why no one goes there. After my wash, I was sat down I told the stylist I don't want bangs but a minute into it, he already cut my hair in the front and gave me uneven bangs... I told him that is not what I want and he try to fix it by brush my hair to the side to hide it. The way he cut my hair is he grab a handful of hair and start cutting. That is seriously the FIRST time I see hair stylist cut like that. In all my experience, they snipe a little bit at a time, never a handful! The entire cut took less than 10 mins, did a few cut here and there and start blow drying my hair. It was done before I even notice. I was like is that the prep? Is he going to actually start cutting and give me more layer? But he said it's done, I can leave now.. Never...

Absolutely horrible. Definitely avoid this one. I’ve specifically told the stylist not to cut my hair short but just trim the split ends. She went ahead and cut 3 inches and asked me if it was okay. I couldn’t see because I did have my glasses on that day. She then cut my bangs short as well, no style no structure and no design, completely ruined my bangs. I left without checking because I was in a hurry (she kept recommending me to do a hair spa or whatever) Now I feel terrible about this and cry in my room for an hour. I have prom and graduation coming up and I genuinely freaking hate this hair salon. I don’t understand how hard it is to follow instructions given by customers. I had hair to my lower waist which I told her in the beginning that I wanted to keep, and now I only have it down to my upper chest. Definitely AVOID THIS...

I was concerned about going back to the salon to get a hair cut because of COVID-19. Even though I've been coming here for a long time and I know my hair stylist Eric all my life.

But I once I got there all my concerns went away. They are very strict on following soical distancing and sanitization guidelines even towards their regular guests. Which I appreciate. They also take temperature checks at the door and is appointment only. So guest can have a peace of mind in these tough times.

The staff members are very friendly and they can speak both Chinese and English. I highly recommend this place, plus you are helping out...
