I went here hoping for a good Mexican food spot with decent prices. I’m happy to say that Dario’s exceeded my expectations! As soon as I walked through the door I was hit with a wave of delicious smells. One of the cooks recognized that I was a new face and suggested that I try the taco salad/bowl. I ordered the beef taco salad with everything on it (lettuce, rice, salsa, cheese, sour cream, beans, and hot sauce) and it was more than enough to fill me up and satisfy my cravings (for about $7.50 including tax). I will definitely come back when I’m around the area again!

I live right by Dario's. Today was my first time going there to buy food. I saw pictures of other people that took pictures of there food from there. That's what made me want to go. The prices are affordable on the menu and they do vegetarian. Which I brought all cheese quesadilla with rice. If want seafood they have shrimp. The only bad part they don't have a togo menu and there website doesn't have a menu either.

Dario’s is my go to lunch spot! It’s a small gem! I always get the chicken taco salad but everything is delicious! The owner has a spectacular memory and the service is great! He mainly has chicken now probably due to inflation but it’s soooo good! The place is small so if you choose not to sit and eat please take something to go, you will not be disappointed! I go at least twice a week when I can.

Dario’s is one of my favorite places in Newark. The chicken taco salad is my favorite thing to get. It gets really busy at lunch but they do a great job of keeping the line moving even when it gets busy. It’s a family run business, Dario mans the grill as his family assists and runs the counter. There’s a lot of great small business’s in this part of Newark, but Dario’s may be the best.
