DiBella's Subs — Restaurant in Newington

Alina Was friendly and helpful and#1 she had the best customer service ! my veggie sub was perfect , I only had Dibellas at work when it was catered for a meeting or other occasion / so today I decided to try this location I got hungry after shopping at Sams, I stood there reading menu hope I was standing in the correct ready to order spot ,then I was Asked by Alina was I set to ordered , she took my order , asked what bread explained my choices and then when I went to ring out my cash app card wouldn’t go thru I had to run to car to get phone , She patiently waited and I was all set , once Apple Pay went thru , I left a 5 bucks tip which she deserves , sucks I heard they split tips because a worker should be worth her wages , that the only complaint I have I don’t like the card tip splitting / but Alina is a asset to Dibellas and y’all need to know even though Wallingford closer to me , I will come to this location def will be back and shout out to the manager Dani she sets a great example of customer service to , if they were ever on under cover boss / even he would realize how hard working and dedicated these young ladies are - Thanks from a future...

I eat here periodically. It is always good. Quick. If I were to compare it to other-like sub shops (Subway, Potbelly’s, Jimmy John’s, etc.), I’d say it is at the top or tied with Potbelly’s.

I also just used them (through EZ Cater) to cater a work event for 45 people. I ordered 7 platters of grinders. The package came with bags of cookies and pasta, potato, and macaroni salads.

They included 70 bags of chips, sealed containers of mustard, onions, sliced peperonchini, mayonnaise, and 7 bottles of oil for the sandwiches.

I was delighted to find plates, napkins, and plastic utensils among the bags.

Delivery showed up at exactly the time requested.

The entire process was easy, and everything showed up as expected, and with a few pleasant surprises. My team thoroughly enjoyed everything.

I’d also add, that I placed this order within one day of the event. The fact they could support this, in this manner, on such short notice, is nothing short of...

Dibella's has great bread but the contents are nothing amazing. Typically I enjoy their grinders. This time my gf and I got two of their largest size subs. 1 buff chicken 1 chicken philly. First off, this took a good 15 minutes which is long but understandable as they seemed flooded with takeout orders.

When I watched the guy at the grill I knew right away that our subs would have very little chicken in them and sure enough I was right.

We felt like we got very skimped on the chicken. Soo much soo that if you were to cut both of our subs in fourths the ends of each would have had literally zero meat in them. This was extremely dissapointing. The workers were friendly and the subs were still tasty but for two $14 large subs we were expecting much more chicken.

I mean right off the bat from seeing the chicken on the grill and then holding a massive sub in my hand that felt like it had no weight to it...just not the best experience this...
