Happy with the best waitstaff in a real long time. There are so many to name .We are here all the time. It's so rewarding to walk in and most of the staff is friendly and welcoming! It doesn't matter if you go there for breakfast or dinner. So many smiling staff that are people friendly! They are what truly what the sign says above the door. Friendly's . Is them indeed . The servers at this location has become A plus . They make sure that everything is going well! Most are attentive and making sure our drinks are filled . Sometimes some work too hard and put pressure on themselves because some lack slightly bit of confidence with the newest ones . My husband and I came this morning 6/2/2017 for breakfast . The husband had a Garden Omelette . I had pancakes with Red,White and Blue. Food was great. Coffee is okay but a bit strong but did the trick. Services was good. We came here tonight for dinner. We both had pasta with broccoli with cheese and a side salads .Was very tasty! Even ordered an appetizer which was mozzarella sticks. The waitress was outstanding as we had her yesterday which was Thursday night 6/1. She is fairly new but was again happy with our visit here. We were leaving but we decided to take home a Watermelon Roll from their freezer. We went up to carryout .We waited for a minute or two . There was employees who was supposed to be doing carryout who never saw us .They were talking among themselves and even the supervisor or manger in charge. Just hangout and leaning against the counter that is in the kitchen area just talking among themselves . A waiter who is a wonderful professional whose job was not to ring us out. He had his hands full with two waters for other customers in the dining room area.Stop and was kind enough to make sure we as a paying customers were taken care of . This young man is great and always consistent and again detailed. We will be back for sure. ...
Read moreThis was my 4th ATTEMPT to go to this restaurant. I say attempt because of the 4 times I've been to this location, I've only had service 1 time.. after standing there for 20 minutes (I knew because I dropped my truck off next door for a tire rotation) and seeing a few workers, listening to one who saw me complain loudly to a co worker that she wasn't doing it, not her job, they need more staff.. the restaurant was almost empty. Anyways, finally I called the restaurant and someone answered the phone, while looking right at me, so I told her it was me calling to order since I'd been ignored. But I digress, this night, I went in to get ice cream for 2 people. A gentleman and his wife walked in right before me, we both were waiting at the counter to order. The worker saw them, said I'll be right with you, finished an order and then said I'll take your order over here (where it says to pick up orders) so as he's walking over there, another woman walked in the door, directly in front of him, up to the staff and she started taking her order! As if she hadn't just told him that she would help him. So I definitely called her out on it and her excuse was oh, you guys were talking, which is absolute nonsense, then it was well I said I'd help the next person, to which I replied , no, that's not what you said, you looked directly at this man and said I'll help you over here and then let someone else just walk up and order! Finally the useless manager with (if possible) an even worse attitude hears the commotion and comes over to roll her eyes and say OK, and? What do you want? So we both just left. This is by far the absolute worst location of this restaurant, they should be shut down, with all new staff hired( management included) and trained properly before opening again. I literally live 2 mins from here and will drive through 25 mins to the Bristol location, which I...
Read moreMost times, going to Friendly's is more about the dessert and not the food, which most times it's subpar. Although my Bacon Cheeseburger was pretty good. At first, it wasn't going good because we got a waitress that was rude and honestly a bit racist. We were a group of 12 celebrating my Autistic Grandsons 5th birthday. We tried working with her, but it wasn't working out. There was another waitress whose energy & spirit was what we needed and wanted. I spoke to Mgr and got Tina. Tina was wonderful she not only was a great waitress, but she made my Grandsons experience great. She had the whole restaurant singing for Roman. She brought over party favors for the kids. She sang and danced for Roman, and the unexpected happened. Roman went to her, danced with her, held her hands, and partially hugged her, which he never does with anyone. There were other conversations and things that clearly God put in place for her to be with my family. My son said "Mom she needs something, and God made it so she can be with us, and we can confirm what she needed to hear to know not to give up because God is there with her. It was an awesome end to a shacky start. Remember, when something doesn't work out, that's because it's not God's direction, but it's God's protection. We believe in God, so hopefully, our experience gives someone else the confirmation or comfort they...
