Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Newnan

I have to take my own order, they sit there and watch me try to figure out their drink system until I ask them what’s wrong with it. That’s when they show me where to scan the little QR code. Then by time I finish my drink my order is ready. Obviously because my burger was boiled completely grey, my bacon was boiled. I know how this works they just put them in pots boiling them so that when people order it can be ready in seconds so they don’t really have to work the grill to much…. It’s sad because I love steak and shake this was garbage and terrible effort by employees who don’t care anything about the brand just the amount of work they may have to do…. And the audacity to ask for a tip on the order I had to take for myself….. 😂😂 But the place was very clean and the older lady going around cleaning was extremely nice and putting effort…. So the only reason for 2 stars was because of her or else it would’ve been just one star…. And by a lack of response to any of the negative reviews on here it’s obvious than regional managers, and more importantly the General manager don’t care…. No big deal… I went out of my way and passed up ten places to choose Steak ‘n Shake …. Won’t make that...

Alright, so I was just there to pick up an order I had placed online. Not a minute after walking in a sweet girl I believe Rosalyn (who looked as though she had other tasks at hand) asked had I been helped and for the name on my order, she followed up by brining out my drink and letting me know it would be up in a minute. She then brought out my food and shake and offered a drink carrier. After walking out I had the urge to compliment her to her manager (I believe she referred to her as Ms. T) who I also complimented for running a BANG UP shift. It has been hard to come across good fast food service these days and I just felt like this experience rivaled that of the all famous Chick-fil-a. I was in and out in minutes and it was such a pleasant experience. THANK YOU Steak and Shake for providing such a clean, pleasant and friendly atmosphere. If a manager or higher up of Steak and shake reads this, give the 2 mentioned my utmost regards as well as the cook crew as I could tell they were engaged and did not AT ALL look like the lazy fast food crews so common around these days. The parking lot only had 2 cars in it and I sat at the drive thru for 5 mins without anyone taking my order so I drove around to the window to place my order. I see three employees standing around; they just looked at me without ever coming over to the window. As I waited for someone, a female with long hair comes into the kitchen area and fixes herself something to drink and continues to wonder around the kitchen. This female was wearing pajamas shirt and pants as well as bedroom slippers eventhough the other employees had on uniforms. Finally, someone comes to the window and 5 mins later a guy takes my order. I order a double cheese burger, all the way, sandwich only. I had to tell him this simple order 3 times. He continued to ask me if I wanted a drink, fries, mustard each time he pushed a button on his screen which is ridiculous. Then I am asked to pull down to the end of the building despite no other cars in line. I wait another 5 mins for my order. The person who brought it out acted mad for some reason. What is up with this place? No wonder so many Steak & Shakes go out...
