Wendy's — Restaurant in Newport City

Supposedly was a manager on the other end of the drive through whose opening was "HELLO" in a rude snappy tone, then when I told her two different orders she continually talked over me. After trying to get my words out twice in a row I told her if she would let me finish she would know what I'm ordering and she got really snotty with me so I turned around and went inside. The moment I got to the counter I heard "I'm sure we will hear about this one" from the crew near the window and talking about me loudly and rudely so I piped up and informed them I was right at the counter. I'm a regular every Thursday and the gentlemen who are usually there are nice however this girl was completely rude and I will not be back without speaking to hire ups. I went twice within a few hours and let me tell you what. This place was packed both times. Burgers were working as fast and efficiently as they could and dealing with people being jerks about the wait times etc when everybody could see they were slammed and understaffed. But even still with that staff was still kind courteous helpful place was still immaculately clean though they were short staffed food quality met my expectations and beyond I cannot say enough good things about this store Manager here is absolutely amazing there was a couple small problems with our order and no big deal very common occurrence in fast food especially when understaffed and busy. Everything here was as usual, staff, food and wait time. The only problem noted was the continued poor condition of the drive thru asphalt. Obstacle course of potholes that makes the visit iffy on any vehicle. Unpleasant!! Noted , it's been like this for quite a while. 7/14/2024-Adding to previous post . Again drive and parking lot still riddled with potholes, ordered a specific item only to be told they were out at 5:00 PM. Baked potatoes are out at 5:00 PM , dinner time. Then all of a sudden have one available. Sauces for nuggets missing, went inside and took 10 minutes to just be able to get anyone's attention to get as aid sauce and they weren't overly busy with the amount of available staff note..
