Although the wait was long, both for a table and for the food, the food was good. A total of 45 min. Not to mention that the lady manager of the day was giving me a hard time abt table wait times. We asked kindly if we can come back in 45 min for our table for 11:05 am, I set-up timer on my phone so that we came back at 11:05 am. And when we arrived, she said oh, we called ur name earlier for you were not here. Ok..... and then we waited another 28 minutes, with the hostess 1st gave away a table for 4 to another party that came after us, it was when I approached ths hostess podium, did she like, oh, you are next. So ultimately, we waited 45min + 45min. Guess that is what we get when we came on a Sunday when bruch was in demand. So, overall ratings: Hostess & Manager: 1 Wait staff: 4 Food: 5 Average: 3.5 For the sake of helping business, I will give them 4.5 for the wait staff and Food

We went to this place as it was suggested by google as a place for breakfast with good reviews. We arrived there at around 10 am, the queue was enormous when we arrived. Since we parked and played for the parking on the street, we decided to wait. We waited for more than 1 hour, standing in line. The queue was moving very slowly. I hoped that the food would make up for the wait. But actually no - the food was pretty average and portion size was not big. The lobster roll comes with a macaroni salad which is not a great choice per my opinion ( bread + macaroni :-/ )- salad would be better. Coffee is below average - cappuccino is from a pod machine. In total we paid almost $60 for mediocre breakfast - wasted one hour in queue on foot. Also, they charge you 12% for service - when it is a self-service, they don't even come to take your plates. You don't pay for service in a McDonald's, do you? They do not give you a receipt with itemized check - only a customer copy with a total. Overall, will never hold there again. Nice view of the warf does not compensate for all of the above.

Belle’s Cafe in Newport ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're in Newport, you absolutely must stop by Belle’s Cafe! This charming dockside eatery in the shipyard serves up the best lobster roll in the area. The fresh lobster, paired with a zesty citrus aioli and nestled in a perfectly grilled bun, is a flavor explosion that you simply can't miss. But that's not all—each lobster roll is accompanied by their amazing homemade slaw, which truly surpasses any I've tasted elsewhere. It’s the perfect complement to the rich flavors of the lobster. To top it off, Belle's offers a delightful selection of cocktails, including refreshing mimosas that are perfect for a sunny day by the water. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try. You won’t regret indulging in this seafood paradise!

I’m a local just to start off the conversation and review. I love walking to Belles on a week day morning for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. This morning the waitress was so kind and saw that my dog needed more water than I prepared for after a much hotter walk than I thought it would be. She got us and the table next to us (2 dogs there) water as well. She was quick with drinks (iced coffee in July is a must!) and the Lox sandwich with a fried egg on top was delish! It was filling enough that I took the other half home. They do get packed during the weekends (rightfully so) since the food and scenery are one of Newports top gems! 🥞🍳☕️🐶 • Great food • Good service • Incredible views • Dog friendly (outdoor seating only) • Comfortable seating as well! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Belle’s in Newport offers a casual, dockside dining experience that pairs great views with solid food. My wife and I enjoyed the Clam Chowder, which was flavorful and satisfying. My wife particularly loved the Lox and bagel, noting that the generous portion of lox made it a great value. My BLT sandwich, while fresh, had a bit too much lettuce and overly crispy bacon. However, the overall experience was enhanced by the active shipyard setting and stunning yacht views. For the price, it’s a fantastic spot for a laid-back meal by the water, especially if you love maritime scenes. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere can’t be beaten.

A very nice place for breakfast. Located inside the shipyard. A little tough to find but well worth the searching. The eggs were cooked very well. The potatoes had a great seasoning on them. The toast was very sick and very very well flavor. Hash of the day was very good as well as the chocolate chip pancake. The orange juice was good but quite expensive at $4.50 per glass. Overall would highly recommend for breakfast/brunch. Was cold inside but it was nice to know the door was open to keep the air flow. Very nice kitchen displayed as well as dining area. Next time I would like to sit outside, it might be warmer. Highly recommend
