Cardines Field — Attraction in Newport

An awesome place for catching a baseball game with the family! I've been going to see Newport Gulls games for a few years now and always have a good time when I go. The tickets are very affordable and there's inexpensive parking at the garage across the way if you show your game ticket when you leave (currently $5 for an adult game ticket and $2 for the garage).

Cardines Field itself feels like a throwback to a simpler time. There's no fancy seating, things look well worn by use, time and weather and the advertisers are local businesses.

As a dad, one thing I like is how they engage with the kids in the crowd. They often have chances for them to get on the field, win a tshirt or similar and meet the mascot Gully.

Its easy going and affordable fun and for me a summer...

Saw Newport Gulls Baseball Game. College age league. First time! Parking in Center Parking Lot, pull into Mariott driveway it's just past Cardines Field to the right for public parking. Take parking ticket at parking lot gate entrance. States on dign max parking rate $40 BUT KEEP GAME TICKET STUB. When exiting parking lot after game, give attendant parking ticket AND game ticket stub you kept, final price for us was $2 for parking for all game. Fun. Cost effective. I assume Gulls have their schedule on internet. Will go...
