The staff was very unfriendly and not helpful. Did not explain the area and seemed annoyed to answer questions. They will tell u that u will have plenty of time to tour mansions on the tours offered. This is untrue and confirmed to me when we went into the breakers. The lady taking the tickets asked me how long we had. I told her and she said oh good they are figuring out people need more time. The tours are worth your time and money but I would only take the scenic tour first and then tour the mansions on your own. We did not have time to see all of the mansion grounds or listen to additional information on the audio tours. Our tour guy was very knowledgeable and told us more than the visitors staff. Well worth your time to see mansions. Just do it on your own time. Plan 4 hours per mansion
