Whoever owns this particular franchise runs it like the Castellini’s run the Reds. As what any Burger King fan should say, “If you don’t know how to own/operate your franchise, maybe you should sell it.” The place is just terrible. Years ago, it was never that way. The Whoppers we ordered were garbage. Terribly assembled, little to no toppings, and just overall poor quality. The fries were ok, aside from picking out randomly saturated, uncooked ones. I was actually surprised I was even able to order for the simple fact that literally every other night around 9:30-10:00, they always say they’re closed because the system is down for “reboot”. Why would your system be rebooting during operating hours? As a business owner, I will tell you that the success and quality of a business starts at the top, and I can almost guarantee the owner is sitting fat on a house boat in Florida without a care in the world while they just hire their employees from a work release program. Sell your business or shutter it if you don’t have the professional wherewithal to operate it as it should be. Too many people on this review forum have wasted their money. I wasted $30 tonight....

Stood in drive thru for 15 minutes just to place an order and then was told only doing mobile orders because “the board was full”. Mind you the Jeep SUV in front of me placed an order for almost $30 and paid by credit card. Then I couldn’t get out of the drive thru because it was a single lane and I was blocked in by cars behind and the Jeep plus a small car that got to place their orders in front of me. When I finally got to the window after another 10 minutes, the manager, Kristi, did not seem to care that I got stuck in the drive thru lane for almost 30 minutes, didn’t offer any type of credit for future purchase, and condescendingly said sorry as in not sorry. Read moreWe ordered through the drive thru today and ordered almost $20 worth of food for our family and the food was mediocre and the coca-cola was flat. One specific item we ordered was the "new" crispy chicken sandwich and it was clearly old, it was dark and tasted awful. My significant other doesn't waste food, ever! And he took two bites of the sandwich and threw the rest away.. it was that bad. We enjoy Burger King however every time we visit the Newport, KY location the food is hardly ever fresh and the customer service isn't anything to brag about. The lady working the drive thru actually made a comment to us about her co workers, "the people in here are worthless" is exactly what she said to us through the window.. I think that says something.
Consider training staff to be more friendly and polite. And work to serve fresh food...
