Quick and fresh food always..There is one thing that I definitely need to say and SADLY usually have to say it every yea! On Memorial Day {in May) they had a sign on their drive-thru that said all Veterans and civil service workers come get free coffee or mighta been something else, in honor of Memorial Day. ( and this is when I start to simmer like a pressure cooker!) Memorial Day is to honor the people who gave the ultimate gift! It is in MEMORANDUM to REMEMBER their SACRIFICE OF THEIR LIFE! Has ZERO to do with Veterans or any workers capable of walking into a restaurant! I can't tell you how many people in America today I have to explain the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day!! Every time somebody says to me as a Veteran happy Memorial Day , I get LIVID!I There is nothing happy about Memorial Day! It is sad and when honor is given to those not with us on this dsy!!! it is not a three day weekend or a free coffee at Wendy's for people it has no business mentioning! That Day is in November!! I take personal offense and the families of people that are supposed to be memorialized on that day take offense!! A big chain like Wendy's to have ignorance in this is UNACCEPTABLE!! Downright disrespectful and Americans at LARGE aren't educated about this. Please Wendy's fix this!! America get it together!! Pople ,when you're flipping your burgers and hotdogs does it even cross your mind who isn't there and who has given you the gift of freedom to even do that!!I am passionate about this and I won't apologize for it!! Read moreMy family of 8, loves Wendy’s. I even order through the app to make it easier for them to get it correct. The last 2 times I have been which was on night shift. The first time I ordered a BACON double stack got home to eat WRONG! Call manager says we will replace come back. Go back get my new burger. I didn’t check before leaving since they knew I was coming. Well sad get home WRONG again. Call again and the manager says oh it was rung in wrong sorry nothing we can do and hangs up. Go back again on night shift and this time it was 3 burgers (which are $3.99 a piece). Manager apologized and I say this is a problem clearly you aren’t doing your job and neither are your line workers. I asked for upper management so I can explain this issue. She says the phone down and talks shit. I told if you’re going to talk about people at least mute the phone. At that point I was mad went back and spoke with Sarah who was at the window taking money and she was the nicest and made sure that my burgers were done correctly. Read moreI just want to say how appreciative I am to all of the Newport, KY Wendy’s staff, especially during these uncertain times!! I have had a couple of recent visits and my order is always superb, with no missing items. There are a few gentlemen who’ve taken my order and I can say they were so helpful, real and understanding. The other day I forgot more cash than what was needed and the credit card I had declined. The man was so patient with me as I found a credit card which would work for the remaining amount. I said to him that the struggle was real sometimes and he was just so sweet about it. I was embarrassed to say the least, but to have someone who made me feel like it’s not a problem and we’ll figure this out, while there were already cars piled up behind me made such a difference in my night.
