Come for the excellent staff and service, stay for the awesome coffee and treats.

As many reviewers have stated, the Pistachio Latte is the signature drink, but is only fully appreciated if you have it to drink at the cafe. As a take out, the beauty of the preparation is hidden by the lid and sinks into the cup.

I have been coming to Cafe 44 since it first opened. Since then a number of other good coffee options have opened in the region, but Cafe 44 remains my go to coffee spot in the Glenview, Morton Gove, Niles, Northbrook area. Though, it is nice to mix it up now and again!

The staff are really friendly, even when they are busy, and they work very diligently. The coffee and non-coffee options are varied, well prepared and always well presented.

Savory food options are limited, balanced with a nice choice of sweet treats; a little pricey though (1 star off the food)

Top tip: if there is a line, or you want to know what the drinks look like before you order, use the self-service kiosk on the wall. This also helps out the staff during busy times; they are sometimes understaffed and can be caught out by an unexpected rush - but always treat customers well.

The cafe is dog friendly for well behaved dogs.

This place opened up a couple of weeks ago. As soon as I entered the cafe, the ladies who were taking my order were so extremely sweet and made my experience so much better.

I got an iced pistachio latte and I’ve tried this drink at multiple different cafe places such as matari, qahwah& qamaria. Cafe 44’s pistachio latte was my absolute favorite! It wasn’t overly bitter nor overly sweet and didn’t have a VERY overpowering smell of pistachio… it had a good balance!!. For those who prefer a stronger sweeter flavor, def add a pump or a half a pump of sweetener. The drink also tasted refreshing with the pistachio and didn’t leave a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. Before cafe 44 I wasn’t that big of a pistachio latte fan, but now I JUST MIGHT BE ADDICTED

I was conversing with the owners and they told me they use ceremonial matcha for their drinks so that is what I will be trying out next! And they were so nice they gave me a complimentary mini donut filled with Nutella, which was soooo good!

I can’t wait to visit this place again and try out all of their items!...
