Nestled in Morton Grove, Charcoal Flame is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where the enchanting aroma of grilled delights mingles with impeccable service. Picture this: a vibrant ambiance, meticulously prepared dishes over charcoal flames, and a menu that promises a symphony of flavors. During my recent visit, an unexpected incident occurred—I accidentally nudged a tray, sending all my plates crashing to the floor before I even had a chance to start my meal. Feeling embarrassed, I stood up, apologized, and offered to pay for another gyro plate. To my surprise, the owner approached with a reassuring smile, saying, "No worries! All good—we will prepare another one." This gracious response not only showcased their outstanding customer service but also highlighted the warmth and kindness of the people behind Charcoal Flame. And let's talk about the food! I ordered a gyro plate with a house salad. The gyro was a delightful surprise—crunchy and extremely tasty. The smoky essence from the charcoal flames elevated the flavors to a whole new level. As for the house salad, it was nothing short of spectacular. Fresh, vibrant, and perfectly complementing the richness of the gyro. Beyond the unexpected hiccup, Charcoal Flame stands out as one of the best dining experiences I've had. From perfectly grilled steaks to flavorful kebabs, each dish carries a distinct smoky essence that tantalizes the taste buds. The combination of exceptional food and the genuine hospitality displayed by the owner and the team makes Charcoal Flame a must-visit destination. It's not just a meal; it's an unforgettable journey into the heart of exceptional dining.

very happy in the past, now? yeah, no. The wait was very long for our simple 2-dinner order, only a few customers in the place including us. Gyro dinners being served long before ours for people that arrived later. That's ok, I wasn't in a rush but it seemed unusual. MASHED rates this as one of the 10 best Gyro places in the U.S, sadly I didnt get one this time. The chicken was VERY dry, and there were tiny flies all over the place, grossed me out. The rice tasted like lemon, unsure if it was supposed to but it was overpowering (I would USUALLY love this but wasnt in the mood). We ordered cream of broccoli soup which was AMAZING. Loved it. I just cant deal with flies around my food. I worked in a kitchen in my youth and it is not impossible to have a fly-free environment and they need to work on this. I havent been here since the end of the goofy useless Chicago covid restrictions and was delighted they opened the seating area when they were allowed to. Props for that. Staff friendly and remembered us. No booths, just chairs but they aren't bad. Gallon of hand sanitizer for guests to use. Fix the fly problem and keep the chicken moist and it will be 5 stars again. EDIT: They have political fliers at the register for a "PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT" (A.K.A. Communist) so yeah I wont be coming here ever again. Good luck surviving when you support a guy who hates business. Didnt enough close from the covid restrictions?!

Obviously when you’re looking for a place to eat you first care about the food quality then the service quality and of course the atmosphere of that place In my case food and service it’s the most important and this is what I found at this place. I was looking for a low key place to eat authentic food My family and I we stop to dine in and we ordered few different items from their wide menu, including “today special” For the food quality and presentation I would rate the place 5 out of 5 For the service quality I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 And that because they served the side dish way before the main dish. For the dine in atmosphere at that place I would rate it 4 out of 5 since the place needs some repairs here and there including the bathroom but of course it’s not important if you choose to take out/ to go Again overall I was very impressed in a good way and I highly recommend it Kudos to the owner and the staff

This place is really great! Charcoal Flame Grill is really impressive. Their menu is so huge, they have so many great selections, and they are cheaper than others. This place is full of amazing food. You will absolutely love all of the offers they have. Their best seller is the homemade pork gyros. It is so flavorful, delicious, and meaty. It is made to perfection, homemade, and really fresh. It is really worth to try and fantastic. Their prices are also great. You can literally order anything you want and try any of their food in such a reasonable price and affordable. They are so decent in terms of pricing. You can save a lot of money here compared eating at other stores around. This Charcoal Flame Grill never disappoints. Really enjoyable place and perfect spot to bring your family and friends. Their location is very accessible, so near, and very convenient. You will definitely love the whole place and the great atmosphere inside. Charcoal Flame is everything. I would really love to go back again when I have some free time. Also really want to continue exploring their menu and try all their awesome foods. Thank you Charcoal Flame for an awesome customer service. You all are great! Thank you! Kudos...
