Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Niles Township

This location is bad. I almost always have some kind of an issue with my order. I've only been coming here because it's very close by but I think I'm going to start taking longer trips to a different location. I usually order a burrito and most of the time there's barely any steak in it. Recently I've had pieces of uncooked rice. The salsa containers are almost always filled only half full.

Update: I decided to give this location another shot and for a while it seemed like the quality and size of the portions had improved a little but recently it started to slip again. The last couple of times they only put meat in half of the burrito and not like there was enough either. Today I ordered a steak burrito just to find almost no steak in it besides a couple rubbery pieces and a bone. Very disappointed. Looks like I'm going to take a break from this location once again.

2nd update: Yet again, I decided to come back, and yet again, nothing but disappointment. On two separate occasions, they did not seal the containers properly, which led to spilled salsa all over my bag. When it comes to the meat, I was able to find only small traces of steak in my burrito. They gave me a side of sour cream last time I went there, and I didn't even request it, yet my salsa containers weren't even half full.

3rd update: Today I got a burrito at this location and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, size and the amount of ingredients. I even had a decent amount of steak. I wish I could receive this kind of service all the...

WARNING BUGS IN FOOD!!!

I have had numerous bad experiences with the staff, the management, the dirty counter tops, and the poor quality of food at this specific Chipotle location. Yet I still visit this location once in a while because it is very close to where I work and I genuinely like Chipotle’s food. Today my fiancé and I stopped in for a late lunch and not only was the staff rude and ignorant and understaffed as usual, but this time we were both served FOOD WITH BUGS in it. We sat down in the restaurant to eat after waiting a while to be served, even though we were the only ones in there, and all of a sudden I see small green bugs crawling on my beans and all over the lettuce in my veggie bowl. I immediately freaked out and we were concerned for our health in case we ate some of the bugs in our first bites of the food. We kindly and calmly informed the staff and manager and they did not seem to care, they just starred at us. We asked for a refund and threw the food away and we left. But that was all. They did not really care about the situation. They clearly did not wash the lettuce properly and it was contaminating all the other food. There were hundreds of small green bugs crawling out of the lettuce into the other food where they serve the lettuce/ toppings. They were most likely serving this lettuce all day long to customers. Always messy tables everywhere garbage always out of food didn't have lettuce people walking in even behind me like six people wanting to order six different meals at 8:00 at night and they're out of lettuce and they said they were out of three other things so they just left You guys lose money all the time I walk out sometimes too normally the chicken has crystalline it when it's cut up it's always something spin the worst Chipotle I've ever had The only time it was ever good was when there was a manager that his name was Javier he was the best you've ever had there when he works or work there everything was great we got to know who he was and he got to care about other people. I used to go to that Chipotle three or four times a week and now I go once every couple weeks and hope being it's going to be okay when it normally isn't You pay almost two bucks for guacamole and they barely give you half a spoonful you ask for extra chicken and pay the fee and the chickens normally very little and everything's falling apart like garbage You don't even get that at other places so I'm about ready to give up given enough feedback.
