Village Plaza — Local services in Maine Township

TJ Maxx and Eddie Bauer are still there, but Produce World is gone now. I heard that the people who worked there were very nice and helpful. To make matters worse, the parking lot access is a disaster if you have to make a left turn to get into this mall. Now that the grocery store is gone, it is even more depressing here. I'm afraid I have to give this place 0 stars.

There is a new store in the spot of produce world now. Some employees from that store came at us and told us something rudely (we also cannot even understand a word they were saying). They were probably telling us not do something. We frustratingly reacted and told them that we weren't even going to that store anyway. We were just going to TJ Maxx, which is on the opposite end of the mall. We even did park in front of TJ Maxx too actually. Moreover, people are recklessly driving in the parking lot here too. The TJ Maxx in this plaza is what I visited. The store itself is relatively well organized and clean, however the staff is highly incompetent. Trying to make a return, even with a receipt will get you treated as if you stole the item. Staff will scrutinize the receipt almost insinuating the receipt is a forgery. Then they take the item apart assuming it was stolen. When it's time for the actual refund staff says they cannot find the item on the receipt you provided. Once you point to the line item on the receipt they become upset and reluctantly process your refund. This experience occurs often enough to be be expected.
