I recently visited Hobby Lobby to purchase fabric, and my experience was extremely frustrating due to misleading signage and unprofessional customer service. I selected two pieces of fabric: one that was 60% off as part of the Christmas sale and another because a prominently displayed sign read, âAll fabrics are 40% off.â Upon closer inspection, I noticed in small print that the promotion ended on December 21. However, this was December 26, and the sign was still up. This is false advertising.
When we approached the employee cutting the fabric, âYa,â she said she would only give the 40% discount if we chose fabric near the sign. This is completely unfair and makes no sense because the sign clearly claimed all fabrics were included, and it should not have been up at all since the promotion had already expired. Misleading customers with outdated signage is unacceptable, and no customer should be penalized for trusting a sign that the store failed to remove.
Hoping to resolve the issue, we brought it to the attention of the manager at the register. However, the manager refused to honor the discount, despite the fact that the expired signage was the storeâs error. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable.
Hobby Lobby needs to ensure outdated promotional signs are removed immediately to avoid misleading customers. Additionally, staff should be trained to handle such situations with fairness and better judgment. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I am seriously reconsidering shopping here...
Read moreI really like this store a lot; I always manage to find what I need at a good price. However, you definitely run the risk of buying more than you initially intended, as everything is so appealing. Each aisle is well-organized, which makes navigating the store a breeze and helps you locate items efficiently. My favorite area is definitely the yarn section, although I do wish they had a broader variety of colors and textures available. I'm also quite fond of the section dedicated to simple crafting materials; the fabric selection is surprisingly affordable and the quality is quite good for the price. One of the things I appreciate most about this store is that they regularly announce discount dates, and those promotions are genuine â you really feel like you're getting a good deal. Visiting this store is always a pleasant experience. There are so many different things to look at and numerous aisles to explore, which keeps you entertained for quite a while. But perhaps the best part is that I always leave feeling incredibly inspired and full of new ideas for projects. Itâs the kind of place that sparks creativity, and I always find myself looking forward to my next visit. Whether youâre a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this store has something to offer. The friendly atmosphere and the wide range of products make it a go-to destination for all your creative needs. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for quality materials at reasonable prices in a well-maintained and inspiring...
Read moreI was a bit disappointed with my visit. Initially I was excited to find a new Hobby Lobby so close to my home. I was going through the store humming along to the Christian tunes on the sound system and admiring the Christian artwork and home dÊcor Then I go to checkout and pick a lane to wait in. I'm waiting behind a customer for my turn and once the cashier finished with the customer in front of me she called over a lady in the line across from us. I went up to her and told her I was next and she replied , "No no she was next, just in that line". I told her it doesn't work that way, she supposed to wait on the next customer in her line and she made no effort to correct the situation, and the customer made no effort to get back in her line. They just acted like that's the way that was supposed to go. It reminded me of something that would occur in the Jim Crow south. I got out of her line fussing all the way to another line and when I got a chance, I reported the incident to the manager and he did nothing. He just said maybe she didn't see me and that was the end of it. Meanwhile, the cashier finished waiting on the white lady and had the nerve to tell the cashier I was waiting for to send me over to her line. Of course I refused. The time to wait on me was when I was in her line. I was very disappointed that the manager just didn't give a damn and did nothing. It was very sad as a Christian in a Christian store to be treated this way. I think from now on I'll go...
