Once upon a time I went to Wendy's 16 minutes before the inside closes...
I walk up to the entrance and it was locked and nobody to be seen, so I had to walk through the drive through because I don't own a car, keep in mind I'm forced to because they closed the inside over 15 minutes early.
So I wait in line just like everyone else, and I got to the speaker and I assumed it didn't work because I can't trigger the sensor since I'm not a car, so the worker at the window brought the manager over and waved me up.
He asks "How can I help you?" And I said "Can I get a bacon cheeseburger please" He says "No you have to have a car" I said "well I don't have one, can't I just order here?" "No you car go ask your parents or someone to bring a car though or something. Why are you even walking up?" I say "because you closed the inside over 15 minutes early so I came up here since you closed early."
(Keep in mind his attitude is getting worse and worse as I talk to him, and mine is fair as I'm just trying to order like everyone else.)
So he yells with attitude "Well it's closed and close is closed kid! Go get someone to go through the drive through" so I say "ok" and call my friend to pull up to where I was, cutting in front of everyone because I waited in line like everyone else. Then he interrupted saying "No he can't just cut in line he has to go to the back!" I argue "Well I did wait inline just like everyone else." He says "LEAVE NOW GET OUT OF MY DRIVE THROUGH JUST GO" Yelling at me me, a 14 year old just trying to eat dinner.
So I walk away feeling Wronged, violated, Yelled at, time wasted, hungry, and wondering why a full grown adult manager just yelled at me about getting a bacon cheeseburger.
I then walked nextdoor to Dairy Queen where their inside WASNT CLOSED EARLY, and got a free dilly bar, and something else. I then eat and...
Read moreWent in this evening a little after 7 p. m. 2/24/20 service was horrendous. Nothing but immature teenagers working there at the time. They were putting pickles on the shoulders of the cashier as well as cussing and saying obscenities out loud to each other. My kids as well as other customers were present at the time. It was one of the most unprofessional and rude experiences I've ever seen. An to add insult to injury we were made to wait 20 minutes for our meal. What was holding up our order so long was a burger for a kids meal, when all the while we were watching countless burgers get made and sent through the drive thru window as well as the guy that ordered after us got his burger before ours. I frequently go to this location during lunch hours cause it's close to my work. Lunch rush is way more packed but way quicker and more polite and professional service. We will not be back, at least not in the evening when it's just a bunch of foul mouthed teenagers playing games on the clock. To store manager as well as district or regional... Please take a look into this day and time of this terrible service and please make some adjustments! People try and take into consideration that most your employees this night were maybe 16 or 17... However... The fish always rots from the head. Issues, especially in the restaurant industry starts at the top. Readjust, realign, make some well needed adjustments, pay a little bit better attention to the "after business hours" crew and please start running your business how Dave Thomas would of wanted you to. Furthermore the food besides the burger we were waiting so long on was cold and very mediocre. Sorry not sorry. If your management team is at all business savvy and fluent in business you will appreciate such a detailed and honest...
Read moreIn short: Don't go here. You'll get ripped off.
I'm sick of this. Every time, every time I go here something is wrong. And chiefly among those things is them skimping on proportions!
I know it's not an accident, it's happened the past 5 times I've been here. It doesn't matter what size of fries I order, they're never full, always half full or less, regardless of it being a large or a small. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't counting on the correct proportions (that I paid for!) to feed people. If I needed a value size, half handful of fries, I'd order that instead of ordering a small a getting it half full. I've been to other Wendy's recently and haven't had this issue. They just seem to rip you off.
They rarely remember sauces. The drive thru takes forever. They often get orders wrong. The past two times I've ordered a chocolate frosty and didn't get it-the one time being given a vanilla frosty and told that they were out of chocolate (which is perfectly reasonable and I understand) and then it was communicated (in less words) that I've got what I've got and should get over it.
There are a few good people who work here and who try hard, but the past few months this store just skimps on portions. I've made several complaints through Wendy's channels for doing so, and the most I've ever received is a placating $5 off your next order. I don't want to be placated, I want this to be addressed. By someone. I only ever go here because it's the closest Wendy's, but unless someone contacts me I'll write this place off as a loss and contact corporate until I get to speak to someone.
So, tl;dr: Don't go to this Wendy's unless you want to be ripped off. Go to literally any other one that is out there. Thanks for coming to...
