Chef Joseph's Seafood & Grill and Kick Sauce — Restaurant in Norfolk

I came in with my family on Saturday, August 9th and the cashier was super friendly! I ordered three different things and she said that my catfish would be nine minutes. I figured this meant that I was getting fresh catfish so I said no issue. About 7 minutes later, she called me for my flounder order. Another three minutes, she called me for the wings. She told me that they were still working on the catfish. Another five minutes and still no catfish. The cashier was friendly again and asked them in the back. Still not ready. Twice more and the same results. I counted eight people that received their orders after my first two items came out. There may have been more, but my family shared their meal with me.

Finally, I checked my receipt and it was 32 minutes since I placed my order (2:22 vs 1:50). I went up again and asked for 5 free shrimp or a crab cake since it had been over 30 minutes! The cashier (still friendly) said that she had to go to the back and ask. I never raised my voice or acted upset as it clearly wasn’t the cashier’s fault. She then came back with my food 34 minutes after I placed the order (no extra food though).

She apologized for the wait and thanked me for waiting. It really was a shame as the food was delicious, but this is a food court, not a fancy restaurant. Only the cashier’s kindness kept me from rating the service and...

We were shopping at this outlet when my family and I got hungry. For some reason, this restaurant caught our eye, and the owner was eager to share his story with us. We soon realized we had chosen the right place for fresh food. The fish was clearly not frozen, and my dad was pleasantly surprised that they used fresh shrimp and fish. We all enjoyed our meal! We didn’t feel overly full since this was real, wholesome food, so we ended up ordering more.

The owner’s story about how he started the restaurant was very inspiring. He also makes his own homemade hot sauce, which I usually don’t like, but his hot sauce was really good—it had great flavor without being overly spicy. If they sold it by the bottle, I would definitely buy it because I loved it so much.

We also tried the crab cake, and it was amazing. You could tell it was homemade, not frozen. I’ve had frozen crab cakes before, and they don’t taste good, but this one was definitely...

Let's Start by saying that the food was fresh made to order It was hot had a good taste in my book a strong 7 out of 10. Unfortunately, the porsches are very small if it wasn't for the fries and bread I still be hungry I was expecting a lot more Bang for the buck for what they call the Platinum special for over $22.50 for like silver special that came with 1 piece off fish cut in half and 5 shrimp fries two slices off bread + a can soda. The customer service was not has welcoming for restaurant that that wasn't busy ask for a cup off ice for my drink order the lady look @ me like they are super cheap on the sauces didn't even fill the little cups half way. If you're paying that much for that little bit of food I expected little more . The best way a restaurant wins over new customers is in value and customer service I believe in second chances I try back in a couple off months hopefully they...
