Tell me why the old man in the back was seasoning my food wth his mucus last Sunday! I placed my order and about a minute later and noticed I was hearing a lot of coughing and gagging. So I walk from near the wall to the right, over to the left side of the restaurant and could see him clear as day, open-mouth hard coughing with his germ mist going right into the pan he was scrambling and cooking my egg Foo young in!🤮🤮🤮 I swear, it looked like he was trying to get it in. When he saw me staring at him he didn't have even more coughs. I will NEVER go back and will make sure that all of the people I talk about chinese food with know! I'm even more pissed because a coworker ordered food from there not too long ago, and I got the chicken wings and fried rice. The chicken wings tasted like they had been marinated in nail polish remover, but I thought it was some sort of fluke + I was tired after running around after church last week and this place was the closest, so I thought I'd give them a second chance, but shame on me now I'm done and want to let any inquirers know what I eye witnessed last week. If you have fears of those sort of places being gross and hygienic, know that this place is yet another one of them and DO NOT EAT THERE. The health department could probably link cases...
Read moreStory time: so I ordered from yummy wok in Ghent (Norfolk va) on Friday for my co workers and I. We ordered delivery and I always order my fried rice without vegetables. I asked the lady to recite my order back, as we purchased several items. But she was rushing me off the phone and never did. Everyone’s food came within 45 minutes, however mine came with vegetables. I call them back and speak to the guy this time, and he says he will get a new order out to me. I wait a hour and call back and ask for a refund for my food only. She refuses saying the guy never told me he would send new food out. And refuses to just issue refund on card I used. She wants the food back. I tell her ma’am that’s not safe, I work the covid floor. I can FaceTime you the food. You can come and get it, which is unsafe. But really you should not want anything back from a covid wing. She refused to assist me. So I went up to the building in full PPE (clean) to show her she should not risk her customers safety taking back food over $8! This lady still took the food. Instead of asking me to throw it away. Gross and totally against CDC precautions....
Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service. The lady working there is beyond rude, and the guy just follows whatever she says like he’s scared of her. My daughter called in our order and accidentally said no vegetables, but quickly clarified just no peas and carrots.The lady said okay. When I picked up the food and verified my order as I always do, she immediately got an attitude instead of just fixing the mistake. Instead of remaking the rice properly, she just tossed onions on top of the side that was visual . When I called back to explain what was happening and I wasn’t happy with me order, I could hear her yelling loudly in the background, which just proved she didn’t care about getting the order right—just about being right.
At that point, I didn’t trust them to remake my food and just wanted my money back. The guy told me to bring the food back the next day for a refund. Seriously? It was already late and was annoyed by her mistake. This place is overpriced and clearly doesn’t care about their customers. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste...
