Placed a mobile order, waited in line for 20 minutes or more (not a big deal). Got to the ordering kiosk and was asked for the code, it was confirmed for "Jordyn" and I confirmed it back to them. Went to the first window and they confirmed my code AGAIN. But said it was for two large Sprites, which was not correct so I corrected it. They brushed it off and told me to pull to the second window. I went to the second window, they gave me the wrong order so l waited at the window so they could take it back and they didn't know where my order was. So they very rudely told me to pull back through the drive through and wait another 20 plus minutes. When I finally got to the order kiosk again, they took a while but again said they didn't see my order. The employee told me I was at the wrong McDonald's, where I then verified the location, and she corrected herself and said I was at the right one. I asked what they wanted me to do, I thought a simple solution was to ask them to make the food since I paid for it, but they refused because they did not have my code (the code they already verified). I feel that this was a completely avoidable situation, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, if the employees (especially the manager or night lead) wasn't so rude. The night lead (I'm assuming) was insulting me to her employees. I am in the service industry and treat people with the upmost respect, especially in a job where it is high volume quick orders, but I was disappointed my kindness was met with such hate. I never got my food and was told I would get a refund, which never happens. Very sad, I hope you train better in customer service. I know life sucks but you do not need to be rude to someone who just wanted...
Read moreOverall, my experience with McDonald's has been generally positive, but there are a few concerns that I believe the management should address to enhance the overall customer experience. One noticeable issue is the state of building maintenance. During the night, the outdoor lighting fixtures produce a strobing effect that, at first glance, could be mistaken for a fire alarm activation. This not only affects the visual appeal of the restaurant but also raises unnecessary alarm for passersby.
Another issue revolves around a particular night manager whose communication style has been disruptive during my visits. When choosing to dine in and use my laptop for school work, it's disconcerting to witness the manager loudly providing feedback to employees in a manner that seems disrespectful over a McDonald's order. While effective communication is essential, maintaining an appropriate volume level is equally crucial to preserve a positive customer experience.
Additionally, I've noticed that this location frequently limits the drive-through to just one lane by placing a cone, causing longer wait times and traffic backup onto the main street. This operational decision can lead to inconvenience for customers and negatively impact the flow of traffic.
In light of these concerns, I recommend that McDonald's management pays attention to building maintenance, particularly addressing the malfunctioning lights, and works on improving communication practices within the establishment. Furthermore, reconsidering the frequent use of cones in the drive-through lanes could contribute to a smoother and more efficient...
Read moreI went to Mcdonald’s for a 20 piece nugget and large fries to split with 2 other friends, I ordered a couple extra sauces since 3 people were eating these nuggets and fries. I get up to the window to pay and they tell me they had to charge me $1.43 for extra sauces, which was fine. Then I get my food and all the sauces were wrong and I didn’t get the amount I asked for. I called and let them know the issue that if I’m paying for extra sauces I’d like the correct sauces and the correct amount. The manager that answered the phone was very rude and kept bringing up how I had to pay for extra sauce and I told her, “paying an extra dollar isn’t an issue, the issue is that I didn’t get what I payed for and now you’re being rude and this is inappropriate.” She started getting rude with me and I told her I actually didn’t care anymore and I tried to be nice with her initially. The manager was very rude when I tried tell her the issue. I am very unpleased with my experience at this Mcdonald’s.
They also constantly give me the wrong drink. I either have to go back around through the long line, or inside…but their lobby is...
