I had the ribs and steak with sweet potato fries and mash potatoes. My food was absolutely delicious! I had the best meal at the table. Everyone else complained that their food wasn't good. I tried their cherry pop that is made there and it was so nasty. It tasted like robitussin. I sent it back and got a regular drink. I also ordered dessert- the chocolate chip cookie with the ice cream on top and it was out of this world. I mean very very good. The prices are really expensive. We paid separate checks so for 2 adult meals and a dessert on my ticket, I paid over $80. The low rating is because our waitress sucked!!! I think her name may have been Kristin. I forgot to write it down for the review. It was our first time there and the menu had so much on it, that it was overwhelming and hard to choose. However, she kept rushing us to order. I mean it was very bothersome. We were planning to sit back and enjoy dinner not be rushed to order and then rushed off. It took a really long time for us to get our food and also she kept ignoring our table. There were 5 of us and when we'd try to get her attention to refill our drinks and she kept purposely walking the opposite way. The drinks ran out completely and took a long time to get refilled. She was very very friendly and talkative to other tables but not too us and we hadn't been rude or difficult at all. For some reason, she just did not want to attend to our table. Also, when asked for a bottle of A1, she brought a completely empty bottle to our table. You could pick it up and know that absolutely nothing was in the bottle. We never received another bottle of A1. One of our guests also ordered a drink that she never received because she kept ignoring our table. One our orders was completely wrong as well but we just kept it to avoid another long wait. They really dropped the ball with that waitress. We were very disappointed in the service. The restaurant itself is very nice with great music playing. It can be a little busy so it's best to make a reservation. The booths aren't really roomy though especially for someone that is larger. It wasn't comfortable seating.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of dining at BJ’s Brewhouse in Concord with a college friend. The atmosphere was welcoming and modern. We had an exceptional experience from the service to the food there wasn’t a miss! Our server Courtney was engaging and polite. She took the time to listen and go over menu items. The restaurant was buzzing but she did not make us feel rushed. She even took time to let my friend’s child order herself. The side of fresh fruit was a hit with the Mac & Cheese! When the little miss requested a booster seat for her stuffie it was a yes! No questions asked she brought it over to the littles delight! Having her stuffie be at table level enjoying the evening with us was everything! It created a moment she won’t soon forget! We started the night with the fried couscous mac&cheese balls, and Ahi poke. The couscous in replacement of macaroni noodles is genius, they had great texture not mushy at all ! The Ahi poke app was the evenings surprise it was light and refreshing. One really never knows what to expect fish wise when ordering outside of a known sushi restaurant. It was well seasoned and hit all the spots! We both ordered the Lucky Ducky beverage, it was a tropical delight! We’re told to look out for the Unlucky Ducky in the coming weeks for a true touch of fall! I had the Santa Fe Salad it was beautifully plated and flavorful. My friend had the Alfredo and complimented how well seasoned and prepared the chicken and broccoli were. To end the meal we shared a brownie pizookie topped with icecream and cherries 🍒 . It was indulgent in all the best ways! We’d like to thank BJ’s Brewhouse and our server Courtney for the excellent food and service ! It truly was a wonderful night and we cannot wait to dine in again!

UPDATE: Sept. 2025 - Stopped here to check out the 3-course week special. Our server was Nicole. She was great. We started off with the Coucous Mac and Cheese. Delicious. My husband and I had the Prime Rib which came with choice of salad, 2 sides, and a pizookie, which is a dessert. Hat off to the chef! Everything was delicious. . My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Friday. Not very busy. We had a fantastic server named Danielle. She had a bubbly personality, answered all our questions, and checked on us periodically. She even told us about the Bj Loyality Program. (We signed up before we left.) We briefly spoke with the General Manager, David, who recommended the Avocado Egg Rolls as an appetizer. We did order them, and they were delicious, especially the sweet sauce that accompanied it. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade, and my husband had an IPA Juicy Haze. We decided to get the $12 Lunch Specials. My husband had the Strawberry Fields Salad with Chicken, and I had Italian Chicken Parmigiana Pasta. Nice lunch portions, and everything was delicious. This is a large restaurant with a few TVs scattered around giving this a sports bar vibe. There are large booths, as well as tables and chairs. There's also a nice outside shaded patio. There is a spacious bar with seating inside. Soft Rock music added to the ambiance. Handicapped ramp indoors leading to the restrooms. Clean restrooms. Bjs Restaurant is located outside the Concord Mills Mall, so there's lots of parking. Come relax, enjoy, and be sure to ask for Danielle.

Well.. not sure where to start. We have been coming here for along time now. My husband tex me today stating he wanted to go to BJ tonight for dinner. WOW BIG MISTAKE. We sat at bar. Non of our normal bartenders was here. I was thinking Tito would be here, Sabrina, Danny, geez somebody we knew. Well we got a bartender which did not introduce herself. I guess she is new. Her name on my receipt was Anna. I asked for a drink and 2 waters. Waters never came til I asked again at the end. We ordered the chips and queso. Queso came out it was barely warm. I got her attention to send back just to warm up. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked Anna can she go check on it. She sent a server to inquire. No response. I saw Jose the manager asked him he said they had to fix it add more cheese ir whatever. 40 minutes later kitchen guy Lamont brings it out. And appogiles for the texture of cheese and it not being hot. The cheese now was perfect. It was hot and not so thick. I had to ask for napkins and plates to eat my app with. Which should of already been out when we ordered our app. Sat and watched 2 people sit at bar for 20 minutes without even being greeted. Another couple when we 1st got there was still waiting on their dinner. I heard them asking Anna where there food was. The guest asked for to go boxes for her stuff when it finally came out I hope this wasn't there 1st time here or they will not be back. We will probably not be back on a Tuesday night again with service like this. I hope this isn't what the future holds with Colleen not here anymore. Very disappointed guest tonight. When Dixie is here. It goes alot smoother. I do want to say thank you to Lamont kitchen guy for getting food right and Melik for going to check on our food for us. Anna not once went to kitchen to check on our app after it got sent back for not being hot. Common sense would say. I need to check on my guests app. I feel she does not need to work THE Bar. She CAN NOT HANDLE BAR AND WELL. I felt like if new GM was here tonight this woukdnt if...

First time and it was a bust. We came with a party of nine. Let me start off with the good. Everyone wasn’t there on time, and they still sat us. Bacon jam chicken wings were delicious. Drinks were prompt and so was the food. Bathrooms were clean and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Now to the bad. I got the ribeye, as I’m a steak eater. The steak was cooked to temp, but it had a weird texture. I expected more for 30 plus dollars. I didn’t expect Dean’s but sheesh. Baked potato was old and over cooked, like it sat under the warmer. Salad was mixed greens and carrots. Didn’t eat any of it after 2 bites of each. Two people got the boneless wings, neither one liked them and didn’t eat them. 2 people got burgers, they complimented the fries, but burgers were basic. Buns were cold and meat was falling apart. Weird. One person got pizza, and she enjoyed that. One person got salmon, and she enjoyed that, but the price point was not equal to the amount. It was tiny and her broccoli was still very raw. Another person got fish and chips, which he didnt eat and lastly an Asian noodle dish which he enjoyed. So the food was a mix, but overall bad and not worth it. Now to the waitress. She was nice, but when my daughter ordered the bacon jam wings, she said they didn’t have them… when my kid showed her the wings on the menu, she didn’t know they were there… and then proceeded to tell us no one orders that but if we had questions to ask. You don’t even know the menu tho. She didn’t come around for refills until the checks came. She never asked if our food was okay given there were so many uneaten plates and we didn’t complain or send anything back. The food was overpriced for what we got. No one left with a “that was great” or even good. I spent 100 on 2 of us, and stopped and got fast food. Should’ve went to Texas Roadhouse or Bad Daddies and I deeply regret it. I would never go back....
