Good day. I had the displeasure of partaking in some donut holes and a cinnamon raison bagel sandwich.
The dough of everything I received was stale and chewy and had a taste of cardboard, that HAD in fact been steeped in a light cinnamon broth. I managed to down half of this bagel atrocity before tapping out (this was bought for me as a surprise, and I didn't want to be totally rude, and throw it out the window like I would have had I been foolish enough to be tricked into buying these "breakfast items"). Heading to the donut holes, which flavor holes doesn't matter, as the sheer lack of enjoyable texture or flavor was astounding. I managed to finish one, before apologizing and saying to relative who brought me these items "If you ever have the misfortunate idea of trying to surprise me with a local establishment that serves "food" again, please for the love of God, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, do NOT get it from Dunkin Donuts."
Granted I have been eating health over the last year, and when you only start eating mostly healthy foods, unhealthy, low quality foods should naturally start to taste undesirable, but I do expect them to still be somewhat edible. I wouldn't expect the food I received to fool even the most vigilant and enthusiastic fast food consumers into thinking it was of even average, acceptable quality. There is no amount of drugs, or alcohol, or condiments that would trick the eater into thinking it is edible.
I'm sorry to my relative for wasting their money, and while I cannot attest to the service, I can't imagine it being far off from the food. And as someone who appreciates all forms of employment, I stopped eating out years ago once I noticed the average experience was met with those unable to perform even the minimal effort needed. So while I cannot comment on the service, I can comment on all manners of preparation that allowed the "baked goods" to reach me, and in those regards, it was abysmal.
Do yourself a favor, and if you want a similar experience, I'm sure there is a dumpster behind a bakery somewhere that can get you a similar experience for much cheaper. Or if that is hard to find, there is...

It keeps getting better ! & -The cheerful, super helpful & Quick staff are always terrific . & It is a very demanding whipping up so many orders so fast . They really make it a happy occurrence. They care about getting stuff right ! I take friends & associates there a lot . The remodel is beautiful - though I was sad about the fewer tables . I want to name a few for now that make it so Pleasant: The current manager Cassidy goes above & beyond always & is a real professional & cares about the business . There was previously an ex-military man that was also very proficient . Meghan & Jackie are a dream team & make my favorite hangout A joy to be at in the morning . Whether just the takeout or inside. Both always smiling & personable with high standards of service. They never miss a beat! & are on their best game always . It is truly amazing !! Jeremiah is a summer server on his way to college . The smile !! The charm . He, also though so young, is professional & Caring. Honestly many of the restaurants - even high priced here - are short on excellent servers . It is very disappointing. I have ordered from the Carolina Beach location numerous times but today I decided to order ahead as I was on a time crunch. When I went to pick up my order, I was a little early and the woman at the window asked to see my receipt, and then told me I would have to wait, which I understood and waited. I then pull back into the drive-through five minutes after the time in which I had scheduled to pick up my order, and the woman over the intercom was incredibly rude and told me that the mobile orders are late and then I would have to wait again. I then told her that I was running a little behind now and asked if I could place my order through drive-through and cancel my mobile order. She then sighed very angrily, and said “I guess what do you want”. Then I decided to cancel both my orders and leave due to how rude she was in the fact that my order still had not been made by 815 when I had placed it for 8.
