I never write reviews, but this Chipotle definitely needs attention. This is for corporate to see since they are not making any changes based on all the continuous negative reviews. To start, employees have the worst customer service. They do not greet you or even ask you what you want. They have no sense of urgency. When I got to the counter, the server just stared blankly at me and then with a bothered expression even though there was no line. There was no rice and the pans looked like they had been sitting there for hours. There were two managers (collared shirts), you would assume they would take initiative to do the rice, as Iām sure they are compensated to take ownership, wrong, they did nothing. The same girl on the line ended up doing the rice and didnāt change her gloves. She then told a different male on the line to get rice from the āother lineā. He took my tortilla (at this point it was cold) and walked to the drive through counter. He then realized there was no rice at that line either and brought it back to the main line. My tortilla had been sitting there 5 minutes until the rice was finished. The same male took the tortilla to the back counter to add the rice straight from the mixing bowl with a spatula. He did not change the pan. He rolled my burrito while using the same gloves he had on the entire time. I then waited again at the cashier counter who was now where to be found. Turns out, the same girl who was doing the line, making the rice, was also the cashier. Because of this, I had to wait for her to finish the rest of the customers on the line. Once she got to the cashier she did not take her gloves off. She put my food in a bag and I left absolutely disgusted that I ended up throwing away my cold burrito. You can clearly see the numerous health violations during my visit. With food temperatures, with hold times, and with sanitation. I hope someone actually takes action and fixes this. There are many high risk customers, as myself, that can get sick from these low quality standards. Most recently, last night actually, I found a long strand of hair embedded into my rice, Iām disgusted but not surprised, because itās too often that I see food handlers wiping their hair out their face with the same hands theyāre preparing food with, without switching out their gloves. And I had a dispute about this only a short month ago, where a woman had the nastiest attitude when preparing my food and I asked her to put a certain amount because for nearly $10 a bowl why is my food barely even covering the bottom ? Chipotle workers act as if it comes out their check to put a DECENT portion for a grown adult woman ! And not only did she have a bad attitude but she was wiping her hands on the counters touching multiple different high traffic areas without changing her gloves and then had the nerve to pick out fajitas from my bowl, because I told her it was way too much, with the same gloves she was touching EVERYTHING else with ! I was disgusted and appalled about this common experience that I am continually experiencing because aside from my experience with workers, the taste of the food is pretty good. The app was extremely complicated to use specifically for payments, I donāt understand why Apple Pay is the only way to make a purchase here but the hassle that creates is ridiculous. Anyway, I simply wanted to add just a drink to my order so I figured I would do so when I got to the window. Unfortunately, there was a skinny, lesbian looking boy with a tattoo on his forearm that was working the window. When I politely asked for the drink, he totally ignored me and continued making orders. I waited about 3 minutes, then the kid told me that I had to go inside to order the drink! Why he couldnāt just tell me that in first place was baffling. So with no other choice, I waited in line for 20 minutes for a drink. Food got cold, and totally defeated the purpose of me using the app to being with. Thatās another reason to use apps with these fast food places.
