It's always a good idea to check out the inside of a restaurant that is preparing your food. In this case, on this day, we should have stayed in the car and used the drive-thru. Ignorance can be bliss. My friend had seen the commercial and reviews for the Angus Steak sandwich and had to have one so, we rolled in a trip to Arby's on our Sunday errands. The blonde girl with glasses at the counter didn't greet the people before us, us, or the folks after us. Customer service is clearly not her forte. She seemed pretty unhappy to serve us, or be there. Once she took our order and our name, we went to find a clean table. Ok, none of those existed. How about one where we didn't have to navigate and straddle a huge spill on the floor. Nope, none of those either. Oddly, it looked like there were tables missing as there wasn't enough seating for folks who came in a party of two or three. There was a counter- height long table for a big group that was empty but, that would have been too big for the two of us. Fortunately, a small group was leaving so we grabbed their table, cleaning it off ourselves. Looking around, the floors were dirty or wet from a soda spill, the tables were crumb laden and dirty, the windows behind us were disgusting. Here's to hoping the food was at least good. Our name was called within a few minutes. We have found Arby's to be a hit or miss experience. We once went to one in Allentown that at 7pm had no "Meats." That makes for a great story! Ok...back to this Arby's experience. On this occasion, my gyro was pretty tasty, though assembled hap-hazardly. My friend loved the steak sandwich. He said it was worth the trip. He also ordered crinkle fries and was surprised that there were more curly fries than crinkle in the packaging. The drinks were standard. Because of the lack of cleanliness that we could see, I would not return to this establishment. On a side note, when we were leaving the restaurant a member of the Arby's team came to clean up the spill that was on the floor before we arrived and during the entire...
Read morePlaced an order for a French dip sandwich meal with fries and drink), and used the $3 French dip sandwich coupon that was on the app, did not make a meal but added small fries and a drink to my order (didn’t want the meal as I only wanted a small fry for myself). Upon getting to the window, the lady asks me if I ordered drinks. I told her what drinks I ordered though she could have just looked at the receipt. Upon handing me my food, she hands me 1 drink and tells me to have a good day. I said I was missing a drink, the lady at the window tells me “she said you only ordered 1 drink,” referring to another woman working. The lady at the window immediately closed the window after making that statement. I figured it was my bad, I must have forgot to add the drink. I double check my receipt and I did have another drink added to the order. Then upon looking in my bags to make sure I had received all of my food, I only received 1 au jus for 2 french dip sandwiches. People working were very rude and made me feel dumb just to turn out that I was right and I paid for things I didn’t even receive! I would have drove back for my drink if it wasn’t a hassle to sit in traffic just for a drink. I don’t really care about a $2 drink I was charged for and didn’t get, i’m frustrated by the lack of professionalism from both employees working, all they had to do was look at my receipt to...
Read moreMy daughter and I ate here yesterday. She ordered her wagu steak burger with no pickles, onions, and mayo instead of ranch, and she wanted mozzarella sticks instead of fries. I got mine how it normally comes. The women at the counter visibly rolled her eyes, sighed pretty loudly and then got snappy and smartassed with me when I placed my order. I could hear her and the other employees talking trash on us. Also burgers are supposed to be grilled, not deep fried like I saw the working doing to ours. They also put our burgers in the microwave to melt the cheese, which they shouldn't be doing. Also since we substituted her fries with mozzarella sticks, I expected to pay a little more. Well we got charged for the full meal and full price for the sticks, which is a rip off. She said the receipt printer wasn't working, but as soon as we turned our backs, I heard it printing. The drink dispenser is beyond filthy, along with the rest of the place, every thing was sticky, spiderwebs and dust everywhere. And to top it off our food was atrocious. A total waste of $30. This place needs shut down by the health department. Luckily I took some photos and will be passing them...
