I just had the worst Starbucks experience ever at the Starbucks located inside Target. I arrived around 6 PM today and noticed the kiosk was completely empty with a “temporarily closed” sign displayed. I approached the Target manager and asked if Starbucks would be reopening soon. She told me the barista was on a break and would return shortly, so I decided to wait.
After waiting for 15 minutes, the barista finally showed up and asked me, “Are you trying to order something?” Of course, I said yes, only for her to point at the “temporarily closed” sign on the register. Confused, I explained that I had been told I could wait and place an order when she returned. Her response? “Oh, I was just asking.”
What kind of customer service is this? Why point at the sign if you’re supposedly asking me a question? It felt dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, a waste of my time. Left without ordering anything I don’t want my coffee to be prepared by person like that.

Read moreLazy rude employees. When I brought to her attention that there was a fly inside the food case, her answer was “that’s just for display”. Even though that might be true, there is still a fly inside the food display you are trying to sell. When I insisted that she should still get the fly out her answer was “it’s not easy to get it out”. Omg, I ended up not buying anything there because with that kind of attitude I cannot trust anything that they serve there. I imagine that fly will live a very long life inside that display. Read moreI want to give props to the baristas there. They're the true MVPs!! Always kind and fun to talk to whenever I visit. Today was a day I can totally appreciate their patience! I ordered a character inspired drink (nothing too outrageous, only 2 ingredients; iced matcha green tea latte w/ coconut milk and pink drink) and they were so patient with trying to layered it on like in the video.
