Took in my cat for a second opinion since she has been dealing with sneezing & nasal discharge off/on for a period of time.
Making the appointment was easy through the website. I was able to confirm my appointment via text. I was running late to the appointment and was calling but no answer. However, I didn’t realize there was a text message that came through asking if we needed more time to arrive or reschedule.
We were greeted upon arrival by Sydney who was very welcoming and made us feel as ease. She asked thorough questions to get my cat’s history and what we were seeking from the visit. She helped us clean up with a towel since my cat pooped in the carrier from nervousness. A blanket was also provided to help her stay warm as she was shivering.
The design of the clinic is appealing but really provides clients with space and privacy. I was very anxious but being in a calming and clean space helped me to relax.
I asked Sierra for gloves to clean the carrier but instead she cleaned it for us. So, I didn’t have to use the smaller back up carrier and my sweet cat was able to be comfortable on the ride home.
We were not rushed at the appointment. We were able to ask many questions, we got a break down of costs and services, we got to see the results of diagnostics to make informed decisions.
I felt that Dr. Lissette was knowledgeable and personable. I do not have pet cats as I am allergic & only have experience with exotics. My sweet cat I brought in is a TNR feral I had been feeding for years whom appeared limping and needed surgery for a broken leg - I could not leave her like that or allow her to be back on the streets. But I felt that I received a greater understanding of what is causing her chronic issues and I think the treatment plan prescribed will be helpful.
The discharge notes were extremely helpful in giving us guidance with the next steps and I feel more at peace with caring for my cat.

Read moreThis was my first time at Petfolk and I even had my dog with me, excited for the appointment. When I first tried booking online, I saw the $100 off promo but never completed it. Later, I called customer care to confirm today’s appointment and provided the $100 off code but told me the code was already “used,” which wasn’t true. They told me to visit in person for a potential managers accommodation as they couldn’t over the phone.
When I showed up in person, all they offered was $50 off which isn’t an accommodation at all just their standard first-time discount. What made the experience worse was that not one manager or senior tech even tried to come out and speak with me directly. Instead they sent the new vet tech back and forth to relay their answers. She did her best but it felt like leadership was hiding in the back rather than taking a few minutes to welcome a first-time client and explain.
For a brand new clinic and a first-time client the whole experience felt more like a transaction than care.

We came 20 mins before closing without appointment and we were admitted and treated super fast. The facility is clean,new and very great location. I signed up for their membership because of the care and responsiveness I received today. Anna and Jatonn were very patient and caring with my baby while taking xray and giving him shots. Dr. Tania was very clear with communication and explaining what is happening . The test results came extremely fast ,the fastest I've seen so far. My baby was given medication ,and prescribed food. Before proceeding with doing anything staff clearly explains the estimate and what is included and if i had any questions they would answer it right away.
