I have been eating at Eggs Up Grill for year's. This has always been my favorite one. I love the atmosphere here it looks and feels clean inside, with a comfortable laid back vibe. The staff are always friendly at all of their locations especially this one. The food was spot on and delicious as always. the menu descriptions are always a slightly off not matching exactly what you receive at every other Eggs Up Grill except this one. You get exactly what the menu says down to the T at this location. Everything comes out just like you envision and picture it should. The portions are generous as always. One note their sausage can have a little tang and kick to it, the link sausage is spicier than the patty. If you don't like spicy I would not recommend the sausage or would say try the sausage patties instead of links. The service was good, however, it is usually awesome here. They were kinda busy but I have seen it busier and received awesome service. Our server seemed a little slower than the usual pace here, maybe they were new or having an off day. It seemed as though they were distracted easily and had too much going on at one time. The food took longer to come out also due to server distractions. The had to do several tasks before putting our order in, and when the ord was up, a runner ran it to the table, as our server was tired up. Rather than complete one task, and move on, they would start a task, taking on another task or two before the original tasks was completed, which caused each, task to take longer. For example I asked for a sweet tea to-go. The server went to the other side of the restaurant to take an order, then went to get napkins, passing by the tea, didn't get the tea, gave napkins to a table, passed back by the tea, seated a table coming in, passing by the tea, 2 more times getting a towel to while the table off after the seated customers at it finally got the tea to-go, put an order in, took another order before giving me my check. Not sure what exactly was going on, the time on everything was reasonable, just not an remarkably quick as usual at any Eggs Up Grill. With food as good as they have it will take a lot less than service that is slightly slower than usual to keep me away. If you are having trouble making up your mind, I highly recommend The Homestead Platter; or The Classic; Three Little Deuces is always a good choice if you...
Read moreIt’s unfortunate to write this because we have come here several Sundays following church service in the hopes that the issues we’ve had before were one-off incidents and not the standard for this restaurant.
Sadly, we’ve had the same poor experience every time. The Hostess today (8/31) was trying to handle things the best she can, but the problem was the misinformation. We were told 15-20 min wait when we first got here, but we waited almost an hour. When we asked about being seated, we were told the kitchen was backed up (which happens) and she was instructed to not seat anyone else until they caught up. I counted 13 empty tables and asked her why she could just seat all the families/everyone waiting outside at the tables, get them out of the sun/heat, and let them order coffee or water- she then went and grabbed 3 waters and said “Here you go!”
I get the kicked getting backed up, and it’s not even the fault of the Hostess (though she should have continued to say “about 10 min” when she had no idea how long it would be. I’d rather her be honest and say ‘I’m not sure’ instead of giving me a time that she constantly changes.
This place is POOOOORLY managed. They have no sense of organization and absolutely ZERO customer service concern. If they gave a single care about custom service, they’d have figured issues like this out- but every time we come here, the wait time is unbearably long, the waitresses are inattentive, and we don’t feel like valued customers. I can’t set a hard line and say we’ll never come back, but it is absolutely at the bottom of the list because the food may be good and all, but it is one of the worst run businesses...

We stopped by for breakfast on a weekday. The restaurant has a nice casual vibe, very clean. The staff was friendly and service fast and attentive.
On not so bright side, the food was not good. The scrambled eggs were too runny. They were cooked more like a French omelet, folded with "dog slobber" consistency inside. I didn't want to make a fuss but now reading other reviews, I see the same complaint repeating. Please learn how to cook scrambled eggs, they're not supposed to be wet.
The home fries were the largest potato chunks I've ever seen in this type of dish. Also very mealy and had no flavor, even with addition of onion and green pepper. Both eggs and potatoes were under-seasoned. Same for my husband's omelet. Bacon was odd: one piece was flaccid but another too hard to chew. Toast was left on the grill for way too long, seconds away from being burned.
Absolutely awful coffee. Weak and bitter at the same time. I thought we as the nation moved past serving "coffee water" that tastes like coal to the public. This place didn't get a memo.
To add insult to injury, we found that we were charged extra for the items that server simply offered without mentioning they would be at extra cost. They charge $0.65 each for adding onions and peppers. Also, toast is included and when asking for toast selection, server didn't mention some options cost extra. So $7.99 dish instead cost over $10. This left very unpleasant aftertaste and made us feel cheated.
In the end, we regretted not going to IHOP just down the road. At least they have...
