If you’re in a hurry, you might as well pick a different fast food restaurant because this Wendys is anything but fast. You would think the time it takes for them to get your food to you that they’re cooking it fresh since they Don’t take another order until the person has received their food and is out of the drive-thru, and then you can add about 2 or 3 more minutes onto that until they ask for your order. And this Review isn’t based on a one time experience this has literally been going on for years. I was the third Car in the drive-thru, no one behind me two Cars in front of me and decided To run a stopwatch as I do every time I go There just to see how ridiculously long it takes this time. It shouldn’t take 15 minutes to make three fast food orders and mine was a happy meal, which is fries and a plane burger that was cold just like the fry’s. If you’re gonna make us wait that long, the food should be fresh and should be being made to order. It’s ridiculous to take 15 minutes to make three orders when you’re just throwing food in a bag that’s Already prepared and wrapped up not to mention getting cold. It’s even more ridiculous if you go there late at night when there’s absolutely nothing going on, they will just sit in there with a full staff and do nothing, You will be lucky to even get a response from anyone in the drive-thru Meanwhile, they’re all just sitting there talking and playing with their phones and our visibly irritated at you just for ordering food At their place of work. Anyways the food is hit or miss on if it’s hot but either way it’s Wendy's so you know what it taste like, but most of the employees there are just immature and lazy and don’t care about customer service And don’t take their job seriously so I would imagine the management there is probably pretty poor too to let this go on Because it is a 100% guarantee that every time you go there you’re gonna wait at least 15 or 20 minutes in that drive-through minimum and like I said this has been going on for years. I honestly don’t know how this place even stays open. I was there around 7:30 PM and there’s only three cars in the drive-through, that should be prime time but everyone knows that it’s not worth the headache and going inside. Read moreMe and my husband decided to tryout the online app.. so we placed our order than afterwards it said we are now waiting on you to pull to the drive throw so we pulled up to the drive threw window the window person was there and she was taking another other I suppose because she was pushing buttons on the machine.. then afterwards she turned her back away from us facing towards the inside of the restaurant.. she never acknowledged us at all.. so I guess that was the manager that came around then they both faced towards us and my husband told them we did app ordering then the manager said “well you can’t just jump the line you have to go through the line and tell us that at the intercom”and she/ he said it again “ my husband said well we didn’t know.. and what he said was understandable but it’s the way that he said it than the employee at the window and another that was inside started laughing like the way he was talking to us.. so they closed the window not sure of did we need to just go around and go to the intercom or what.. than the manager came back and said “and to let you know that we’re out of salads “ again it’s the attitude and the snickering is what turned us away so my husband says “ you don’t worry about it I’m just going to cancel the order.. so then no response from the manager they both was just standing there looking at us and my husband said again “ don’t worry about it I just canceled the order than we drove away! Again it’s not what he or she ( and I say he or she because we were not sure of the gender) it’s how he said it and the rudeness. The window person looked as if she was pregnant so I understand working in a fast food restaurant is person tends to get tired and frustrated but I’m sure they were told how busy it gets etc.. but you still have to give customer service.. but the ignoring us , turning her towards us then the snickering and laughing at how the manager was talking to us is not good at all.. if I ever eat at this Wendy’s again it would be at noon because I do not wish to have to have them to service us ever again. The people that’s working there around 10 and 11pm really needs to take a class on customer service because their rating for it is zero !! I would never order from there again around that time...

I tried again as I really needed something quickly and it was way close to the office - - - Ordered a salad and small fries. Fries ready but not the salad - they had to make the chicken. Pull up and wait and wait. Did they give me the fries? Nope they sat in the bag at the window. Finally my order is ready - the girl is holding onto the door of the restaurant and stretching to reach me - REALLY? Told her, Hope you didn't have to stretch too much there to do some work. The chicken they made - under cooked - fries - stone cold - I hope the squirrels enjoyed them. I paid 8 bucks for lettuce, apples chees and nutz.
CASH only??? For months they have been stating their credit card terminal is broken. NO receipts either - guess they are out of printer paper. As a local establishment, one tries to frequent and give the benefit of the doubt and give another chance - - ALL OF NORTH MYRTLE COULD FREEZE OVER AND IF THIS PLACE WAS THE ONLY PLACE WITH A HOT CUP OF COFFEE, I WOULD LICK THE ICE INSTEAD.
Food quality? COLD and on semi stale buns. Fry containers BARELY filled. Soda tastes old.

This cannot be a corporate owned location. Maybe this business should be reported to the local tax office - with it being an all cash business, someone is probably hiding a lot of lettuce, cause it sure isn't in their sandwiches. (I am not accusing anyone of tax evasion - just making a remark, so let's not get all out of joint).
Needs a total revamp. Needs a new credit card terminal. Needs not to be frequented.
Don't bother calling the numbers on Wendy's websites - they don't work. That includes the number for corporate!!! You an try to email them on their form - Don't hold your breath waiting...
