To the owner(s). I don’t know what else to expect from North Platte as it seems almost every place where you can get any food or drink is at best sub-par but I have a special place in my heart personally for Dunkin, and as a long time fan here’s my in depth review about the place. If you were to go to Dunkin anytime before about four months ago the service and drinks were fantastic and almost always made correctly. However I’ve noticed that whether it be a staffing issue, management issue, or some bass ackwards ownership issue, it is an oddity that anything is made correctly, timely, or god forbid both. Several times I’ve gone in ordered and every employee miraculously disappears too the back, which to me as someone who has worked in food service for a long time is exemplary of staff that doesn’t want to do their jobs, there are some people I’ve seen that despite their best abilities put forward effort, at least from an outsider perspective, and most of the time I can get past a wrong order because that could be a new crew member still learning the ropes and figuring out how to make drinks, despite it happening all the time turnover rates in restaurants are high in this town and I get that. But my experience today makes me feel like it’s a management/ownership issue, I went in today and ordered just a couple drinks, the person taking our order was Ceaser, I know he’s a manager but I don’t know his work ethic because despite having people who work/used to work at Dunkin that I know who I can check this info with I like to collect an unbiased opinion of a place, he took our order over the headset and we pulled to the window, by the time I got to the window I had been waiting five minutes before my cash was collected, after that I had waited 15 minutes for my drinks, which was enough time for six cars to pull in (probably more but six was enough to wrap behind the building) in this time I was watching the people working inside because truth be told I’m nosey. There was a blonde woman who was taking care of what seemed to be all the drinks, another woman who made a brief appearance here and there who seemed to be taking care of pastries, or to go orders or something I couldn’t tell, and then the MANAGER Ceasar, was nowhere to be found until he miraculously showed up on the drink station in the last 2-3 minutes of my wait, and even then he was on his phone the entire time. After about 2-3 minutes of this he once again disappeared to do god knows what and the woman who I said was probably working on pastries handed us our drinks. Now the reason I bring this experience up is because it’s clear there’s a rooted management issue with this establishment and misplacement of power provided by the owner, good management can make or break a place, placing those who may be more knowledgeable on the drinks to insure correctness as well as guiding new hires through the process of running and up keeping the store. I do not see that in any regard at this location. If you want good coffee for an even better price go to Dunkin, however if you work late shifts like me I pray for your order. Also final side note, after getting my drink there was a syrup lid stuck to the...
Read moreWorst service ever. I’ve never been inclined to review a coffee shop before, but something has got to change at this place. Went inside as there was a few car line in the drive thru and there was ONE other person in front of me. Ended up being a 25-30 minute ordeal for a SMALL BLACK COFFEE. It cannot be much easier than that at a coffee and donut establishment with no one else in line. As I stood there waiting for someone to take my order and then waiting for my coffee, the line inside grew and grew, with no service from the front counter. Probably 10-12 people working in the back and not one of them had any regard for the line that was growing inside. Absolutely no sense of urgency from the employees. And no one knew what they were doing. A real disaster behind the counter. All 12 people were working only on drive thru orders. I would say, if you’re going here, do drive thru only...but really I would just urge you to take yourself over to the Starbucks across the...
Read moreThe customer service has went downhill. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel with cream cheese and only got a bagel with cream cheese. I called and employee said she would leave a note in the office. On a separate day I ordered the same thing and it didn't have cream cheese. We are charged extra for cream cheese only to not get it. When I called again she said that since I hadn't gotten either she would just leave a note for me to get a sandwich when I came in. The next morning I order donuts (which we do frequently). I mention the sandwich while I am ordering, then get to the window and they have several different people asking questions about when I ordered (which I had already given order numbers). There was a line of people behind me and they still didn't trust that I had been charged for this stuff and not received it. The customer service used to be really good, however this is unprofessional. I just left without getting what...
