As a person who works in customer service, and someone who enjoys good coffee, the place a commonly visit, has steadily declined. I have been understanding about some usual chaos to occur and taken in the days’ business into account. However, there have been several days where I stop in and observe while waiting for my order: -The store lobby and bathrooms are messy and trash is overflowing. -The business is fairly lacks, yet drinks have taken up to 5 times longer to make because of lack of knowledge and care. -The staff is usually quiet, non-engaging, and sometimes rude to the customer. -Partners are not using their time effectively and in the benefit of the customer needs. (General summary of my experiences)
Now don’t get me wrong, I understand the stress and how hard each shift can be, and usually I wouldn’t ramble about things like this, but today the customer experience was just horrendous.
I came through drive thru, only ordered one drink, and then proceeded forwarded to the window. Time between the two cars infront of me and getting to the window was exceptional; however, everything changed upon arrival. The barista running drive-thru, Zoey, had a completely unenthused tone and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. When she asked for payment I told her that I wanted to use a reward, and Zoey rudely “corrected” me and said, “You mean you want to use Stars.” I told her yes, I would and like to use reward from the Stars I’ve accumulated. She then sighed and proceeded to finish my transaction. As I was handed my drink, Zoey proceeded to close the window and I noticed her roll her eyes and sport a very unfriendly face.
Excited for the store remodel, maybe we can get new attitudes or staff in...
Read moredon't usually do reviews... but I am compelled to review this Starbucks. They have consistently been mediocre, but this past visit sank them to just shamefully poor service/product. I hope the young lady who ran the window figured out her banking problems... since her personal problems were clearly more important than correcting my order (as I was clearly the one at fault for them making me the wrong order). I also hope that the other young lady making drinks near the window finds happiness, because her inability to be anything more than rude brought sunshine to us all.
And when I called to see if the situation could be rectified without waiting in the drive thru live for another half hour - the boy who answered the phone... the same one who punched in my order incorrectly... and mind you, the order was a pain because they were out of cold brew... proceeded to inform me more rude, condescending blah blah blah.
I've visited Starbucks all over the world and they are the worst...
Read moreI find it utterly ridiculous that the store doesn't open until 530am. This is the only store in town, and on an Interstate exit. You are literally flushing away ALOT of business.Alot of people commute out of town for work.
Update 2 years later, traveling for Christmas again. I thought , what the heck? It's been two years, SURELY with all of the reviews, they've improved, right? WRONG....I was literally THE FIRST customer this morning. It was -10 degrees out. First after I order, they say they don't have White Mocha right now, sorry. Ok...after a long deliberation, I finally settle on a Creme Brule Latte, after explaining that I only ever drink the White Mocha. Fine,it's early, whatever. Get back to the hotel, and my drink is something completely different than we had even discussed! So I ended up with a REGULAR Mocha(barf) with 4 shots in the end instead of the latte with an extra shot. Gross..AND thanks for wasting another $15 of my holiday money. Merry...
