This places pizza is AMAZING and reasonably priced right now. The lasagna pizza was the best pizza I have ever tried. The food deserves 5 stars. The owner deserves negative stars. My husband and I ventured in a couple days ago and the young man working the register was very nice even offered us a complementary dessert to show off the establishments skills. When the man who I believe is the owner came out of the back he shook the hands of the men in the restaurant except my husband. For him to be the only black man in the building it definitely rubbed us the wrong way. We let it go and enjoyed our pizza. Today I went there for lunch and the lady at the register who I believe is the owners wife was not pleasant and the owner in the back barking orders and only speaking to the customers he knew (again not me) just makes me not want to dine there. If you’re just looking for good pizza and don’t really care how you’re treated than this is the place for you. For me, I’ve had 2 bad experiences and just can’t fork over any more money to help the establishment. At the end of the day your CUSTOMERS will keep your doors open. I’ve worked down the street from this building for just one year and Manhattan is the THIRD company to move in so it’s not the greatest location and it’s hard to be seen. therefore your attitude towards your customers should be more on point than anything else. I love supporting small businesses and family owned businesses but for someone who was in the food industry for 10 years all I can say is good luck, change your attitude and your doors may stay open a while longer. Read moreYesterday was my birthday, so I went here because their sausage pizza is the bomb. 1st time I visited and older guy was running it and he did fantastic! Yesterday, however it was staffed by 2 younger guys and a younger female. They say the speaker doesn't work, and to pull up to the window. You get to the window and it says ring bell for service...which I did...twice in 10 minutes. Not one soul came to the window. Drove and parked and my husband went in and placed our order. He told them we sat at the window and rang the bell twice and were out there 10 minutes. The girl didn't belive him and went and rang the bell herself, to which it sounded. Okay, so back to placing the order...got the order placed and it came to $39.64. My husband gave her $50. She said do you have anything smaller...our change literally would have been $10.36...you could tell they didn't have time to be bothered and that is what is sad about today's younger generation. My husband says they were not busy and just hanging out when he went inside to place the order. I am a manager in the hotel industry and was flabbergasted at the service we received THIS time versus LAST. I want the owner to know who they have employed and how it could be messing with your business. I left and went to Pizza Inn and was treated like a VIP and they even comped my meal...they received a very heafty tip because in the hospitality industry, most people understand what good service is. Just yelled at me on the phone asking what my apartment number was several times. Turns out somehow the order system left it off. No biggie. Then she just drops my food at the door and didn't even knock . Litlery drop and just walked off. Was kind of shocked when I saw it on my camera. Opened the food and the order was wrong. They were out of something in ordered and decided to substitute it with something that I am allergic to. The way they described the pizza on the website got me excited yet when it was arrived it look basically the same as what you would expect from a 7/11 takeaway. Cut wrong and had three or two peices of pep one each slice. Asked for well done and light cheese. That was not done either. Called the restaurant a young man answered the phone. Asked about the sub that happened. No response. He just handed the phone to the "GM" who explained they had no way to contact me since I ordred thru a third party.
