For the most part I have always enjoyed Firehouse Subs until today. I order subs from Uber Eats as usual. The driver delivered the order 15 minutes prior to the estimated delivery time; however, I was missing some of my order. I contacted the restaurant to inquire as to what I do in a situation like this. The employee stated that the order was on the counter and I could "come and pick it up if I was able". Now I know I not crazy this kind of defeats the purpose of delivery. Or I could have Uber go back. The cost was found 5. So I inquired about a credit. And of course, that was no because of the different ordering systems and again I was told to come and get it it was on the counter. I understand the different system; however, maybe the option would have been to offer a 5 dollar coupon instead of insisting I pick it up because it was on the counter. Maybe the employee could have been a little nicer and said something like I know it's an inconvenience for you to come and get it, so if you'll let us know when you're here we will bring it to your car. So my options go and get it myself, wait for Uber to make the rounds again or let Firehouse Subs just keep my money. Customer Service ranks really high in my opinion of restaurants and Firehouse Subs had a major fail today. There should never be an option to keep (steal)...

ordered online and ran in to pick up my order, it was already paid for so i literally was just picking the stuff up.
The girl at the register told me ''for online pick ups you have to go to the other end of the counter'' when i looked down the counter my stuff was sitting on the top of the table waiting and i was the only person in the store at the time. I explained to her that if i am just picking up already paid for items theirs no reason she couldn't walk down and get my stuff for me no matter what side of the counter i was on. She rolled her eyes at me and brought me my food after and i left.
You need to explain to your staff that it should not be a argument for them to WALK my food down to me if i already paid for everything. Very rude and quite honestly its apart of their job for customer service. When i worked in food service i always brought the customers their food no matter where they were in the store if it was already paid for. They did ME a service by having it already paid.

Read moreI’ve gone to this location for several years and never had any problems. Just the occasional wait when they get busy like any other food place. Staff throughout the years have always been friendly to me and the place is always clean when I walk in. The food is pretty consistent and I’ve only had a few not perfect sandwiches in my 5+ years of coming here. This location is 10 minutes from home and has been my go to since I found it. I’ve eaten inside and taken to go orders but never ordered ahead of time or used Uber so I can’t speak of the service in that regard.
Firehouse is the ONLY sub sandwich place I eat at (I don’t like subway or jimmy johns) and I get the same thing every time. I’ve tried multiple sandwiches and they are all good, but the Italian is the best one in my opinion. The soda is crisp and well carbonated, the sandwiches are warm and comforting, and they have a good selection of chips and drinks.
