Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

My wife and I used to come to this sonic all the time but over the last few months they've let us down in terms of service and attitude.

1. the last few times we've gone there's been something missing or an item was wrong. Whether it be sauce packets, utensils, a drink....
2. the last two times the bag was handed to us upbright, prompting us to assume our tater tots were placed on the bottom of the bag, only to discover by the time we've arrived home that all of the tots have fallen out of their container and the entire bottom of the bag and now the floorboard is now coated in grease/chili cheese topping.
3. I don't know if it's teenagers who don't know how to interact with the public yet or what but the attitude we've received from employees here has been rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. When I press the button, it is so I can ask someone something or place an order. It is NOT so I can be barked at about whatever is going wrong. I was not given space to voice my concern about the app because whoever answered was busy harping about systems being down before ending the line. When I pressed the button AGAIN I explained we had already ordered online and we are picking up an order, we were given the answer "we can't make you're order here". I asked "I already paid for my order from this location. What do I do about that then?" And the line was cut with no answer at all. Suddenly we were able to get our food.

After grease staining my floorboards twice, and given attitude the entire way time I was there, we won't be returning here. We're tired of the poor service, lack of attention to detail when preparing orders,...

I got this text from Peppa, asking me to leave this review (she didn’t know how 🤷🏻‍♂️🐷):

“Oink oink! Hello, I’m Peppa Pig, and I simply must tell you about the most magical place in all of America—no, not my theme park, silly. I’m talking about the Sonic Drive-In that lives right in the parking lot of my park. It’s like finding buried treasure, but instead of gold, it’s cherry limeades and tater tots.

After splashing about in muddy puddles all day, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, George, and I waddled over for a snack. Daddy Pig tried to order politely, but when they handed him a chili cheese coney the size of George, he squealed louder than I do. George dropped half his tots in the car seat, but that’s normal for him. Silly George.

The milkshakes? Oh my snout. It’s like drinking happiness through a straw. I may never go back to plain old muddy puddle milkshakes again (don’t tell my park, teehee).

I knew exactly what I wanted when I pulled to the stall and got a response from the speaker quickly. The lady took the order down fast and I paid with my debit card at the screen. I ordered 4 drinks, fries, and tots. Easy snack order for the office. I waited a good while but it was around 3 or 4 so it was fairly busy so I waited with no problem. I had a sweet and unsweet tea so I asked which drink was what she said she'd go back in to be sure and I asked for a cup holder when she returned. She came back with the cup holder and quickly walked back inside I was calling for her and she was already at the door to the store when she stopped. I asked again which drink was what and she answered from the door (i couldn't hear her) then another worker walked out the door and they talked for a few seconds and she immediately walked in behind her without even looking back. The entire time I'm hanging out my window trying to understand her. Simple question with simple solution/answer and it was treat so disrespectful.
