You walk in, order at the register, then take a seat and they bring the food out. Service was fast, but that’s where the positives ended.
There was a live insect with a weird curved tail crawling in my pink chicken Caesar salad. I flagged it immediately. The female staff just stared at me like deer in headlights. No apology, no response. Just took the plate and walked away without saying a word.
My partner tried to keep eating his jalapeño burger, but the whole thing felt gross after that. Honestly, I should have known based on how the restaurant looked. The world’s dustiest air filter. and the windows were swarming with flies. The live insect in my salad clearly wasn’t one of those.
The whole meal cost about $32 to $36. I handed the plate back with the insect still very much alive and visible, told them what I found, and got nothing. No apology. No explanation. Just blank stares and awkward silence. We were only there for about 15 minutes and barely touched our food. Don’t try to say we ate most of it. I found the bug within the first few bites, right after noticing how undercooked and veiny the chicken looked.
This was supposed to be a new spot worth checking out. I walked away disappointed and disgusted, feeling like I paid for the worst kind of experience. My time and peace of mind are worth more than that. They clearly need to invest in a professional cleaning and pest service. I’m never going back and definitely won’t recommend it. A simple “sorry” would have gone a long way, but instead, I got silence and judgmental looks. What a waste. Should of...
Read moreI’ve been a regular at Griller’s, often opting for their blackened chicken wrap. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. On one occasion, the chicken had an unusual taste, prompting me to forego leaving a review and instead directly communicate my concerns, requesting freshly made chicken on my next visit. Despite assurances from the staff that my request would be honored, I observed the chef using pre-cooked chicken for my order, only to see fresh chicken being prepared shortly after mine was served. This was particularly frustrating as it confirmed fresh preparation was possible but not afforded to my meal. When I got home, the chicken in my wrap had the same peculiar taste as before. Upon calling to express my dissatisfaction and mentioning that I had specifically requested fresh preparation, I was informed the chicken was cooked two hours prior – far from fresh. I decided against a replacement and disposed of the meal. While Griller’s has potential, the inconsistency in food freshness and the lack of attentiveness to customer requests has been disheartening. It impacts the quality of the food and customer satisfaction deeply. I hope this feedback encourages Griller’s to prioritize fresh preparation and genuinely heed...
Read moreHad looked online for ratings! With a 4.3 rating I thought it would be a good place to try. Looked at the online menu and prices were reasonable. When I arrived I went up to the counter and asked if they had a paper menu that I could look at the table They advised the menu above the counter would be the menu to use. I made my decision for the jalapeno Burger and fries and ordered a side salad. The menu above the counter listed the jalapeno Burger for 9.99 The add on side salad was the 1.49. This was a little higher than the listing on the website but not by much. I realized prices are going up. When I went to pay I was told the price was 17 something. I asked because I said the jalapeno Burger showed up there 9.99 and the side solid a $1.49. The cashier stated that the prices needed to be updated However she had told me that was the menu that I should order from. I am giving this a one star rating not because of quality of the food but for the Deceptive pricing. I drove a fair distance to try the restaurant out and was upset!!! I did not argue or try to make a scene I just left and was not very satisfied. No compromise was offered for the missed...
